29 Chapter 29 – Divide and Conquer (1/2)

While the rest of the bandits were scared, Wolf claw was livid with anger.

”How dare they mock our Blood claw, search the entire village and kill everyone you find.” He shouted in anger and charged into the village.

The other bandits also charged after Wolf claw and split into smaller groups of six in different directions, Zhu Xuan among one of the groups.

As soon as his group was out of sight of other groups, he attacked without hesitation telling himself ”All is Set”.

Second part of the plan by Zhu Xuan also went exactly as he wanted. He put all the heads on pole in front of the village to scare the bandits, and to make Wolf claw angry and wanted to kill the young man as soon as possible. And in anger, Zhu Xuan believed Wolf claw will divide his group into many to catch the person who killed the bandits as soon as possible, and it went just as he planned.

In a few seconds, everyone on the group was killed without even able to unsheathe their weapons. It was easy for him to kill them from within the group, where no one was expecting to be attacked. He stopped after killing and said to himself while moving to where the other group went ”On to the next group.”

Zhu Xuan avoided Wolf claw's group who went to the centre of the village and started killing all the other group. Within few minutes, most of the groups were routed and killed by him. When there were only three groups left, including Wolf claw's group, there was signal from the centre of the village for the bandits to assemble, and the remaining groups started moving towards there. Zhu Xuan realised Wolf claw had already found out about the killing. He changed back to himself and also started moving towards the centre of the village.

As Zhu Xuan guessed, Wolf claw realised from the smell of blood that there was someone killing his people. He was a bandit for a long time and experienced many things, so he soon figured someone was picking the group one by one while he was in the centre of the village. As a result, he immediately signalled everyone to assemble together in the centre of the village.

Zhu Xuan found one more group while moving towards where Wolf claw was, and started killing them while chasing. He killed the last person of that group when he almost reached the centre of the village in front of Wolf claw's group. They were enraged seeing one of their own people killed right in front of them.

Zhu Xuan looked ahead and found there were eleven people including Wolf claw remaining and he relaxed. Wolf claw is at the peak of the tenth stage and the rest are mostly at ninth and eighth stage of body purification.

Wolf claw asked with gritting teeth with full of killing intent ”Are you the one who killed my people and put their heads outside the village?”

Zhu Xuan calmly answered with a cold smile while walking towards the group ”Yes, and don't expect any more of your people to come here, they are already dead.”

As he said that, Zhu Xuan suddenly moved fast towards the Wolf claw, planning to kill him in a single move. He believed everything went as planned and everything is under his control, but he will soon realise that he should always be prepared for some unexpected occurrence.

As soon as Zhu Xuan moved, Wolf claw also moved. He side stepped, his hand bulged and formed a claw and he directed his hand towards Zhu Xuan's abdomen directly to rip it off. Zhu Xuan realised he was going to get attacked and changed his sword direction to attack Wolf claw immediately. But, Wolf claw suddenly retreated in a fast speed and gained distance.

Zhu Xuan was troubled when he realised Wolf claw also practiced Wind element movement technique and his speed was equal to Zhu Xuan. Immediately he made his decision to kill others before fighting Wolf claw and started attacking others. He moved like a ghost towards two people opposite side of where Wolf claw moved, and sliced them in two with a single strike before they could react.

Wolf claw understood Zhu Xuan's plan and moved fast towards him with both his hands bulged, and attacked before he could kill anymore of his people.
