He was surprised when he learned Cai family, although not a clan, is a powerful family in the Tanxin city. He remembered the old man that escaped with heavy injuries and wondered whether he survived and left the mountains.Even if that old man returned and informed the Cai family about the death of their young master by someone from Qinglu city, he wouldn't bother with it. According to Bai Wuji, once the Prince or Princess of the Emperor of Lei Shu Kingdom reaches the age of sixteen, they were send to govern the cities under the kingdom. This helps them gain experience to govern the country in the future and also to face various challenges to nurture them for the future. Current Emperor of Lei Shu Kingdom has eleven children, and seven among them already crossed the age of sixteen and each governing a city, while the other two were governed by Generals of the kingdom.

He cleared his thoughts and walked down the mountain towards the city with excitement. He reached the North Gate and entered the city after paying 5 Gold coins entrance fee.

Even though he had the knowledge of the city from the previous Zhu Xuan, he was too excited to look through the place in person. He was like a curious kid looking left and right. As soon as he entered, he found soldiers quarters and training grounds inside the outer walls. Followed by this were the slums where the low class family and some low level mercenaries lived. After the slums are the place where the middle class family lived, and this place also had Open markets, Adventurer guilds and Inns. The living condition improved as he moved closer to the Middle wall.

He found an Inn named Gateside Inn, near the gates close to the Zhu Clan gate entrance of the Middle wall. He paid 15 gold coins for three days stay along with the food. He ate his food in the ground floor restaurant and walked to his room on the second floor.

He didn't plan to return to the clan right away. He was planning to breakthrough to Eighth stage before returning to the clan. He already progressed a lot in the past few days because of the essence left in his body from blood Linghzi and he was sure he will be able to breakthrough to eighth stage within three days.

He also need to find out any news of him before entering the clan to find out what story second brother spread about him in the clan. This is the reason why he stayed in an inn close to the entrance of the Zhu clan territory.

And he also need to stay in the clan for few days once he entered the clan before leaving, to avoid suspicion of others from the clan since the previous Zhu Xuan mostly stayed inside the clan and rarely went out. And that's why he told Bai Wuji he will only be reaching the city in seven days.

He entered the room and found it very clean. He sat on the bed, took the gourd from his waist and drank the demon beast blood, took some elemental resources he bought on the way.
