I started to follow her and yet somehow, I lost her. What?

I never felt so ashamed as I did now, I a famous general lost an infant.

I continued to look for her and finally found her, but when I did, she was in front of my wife. Who had a shocked expression on her face?

I guess I'm not alone.

The little infant raised her hands at my wife as if asking for her to pick her up. My wife had a complicated expression on her and couldn't decide what to do.

She then lowered her hand as she seemed to have lost interest in and then turned her head towards my direction.

Does she know that I'm here?

I wasn't visible from where I was and yet she was staring straight at me, and then she smiled and giggled.

She really can see me.

My wife was wondering what the little girl was looking at glanced in my direction but didn't see anyone and then turned back to the little girl who started to crawl away from her.

”Ah! Where are you going?” I heard my wife say as she chased after the infant.

My wife eventually lost her too, and I couldn't help myself come out. I walked up to the women who I hadn't seen a smile at panic over losing sight of a child. When she saw me, her face froze and then grew cold.

It hurt, and I felt my heart being stabbed all over again.

The suddenly it my wife fell over, I caught her before she fell utterly o the ground. In my arms I held her, and it felt really good. She looked up with a flushed face that I hadn't seen in what felt like ages.

And then I head the giggle of an infant. My wife and I looked at her who sat with my wife formally was.

Did she push her? Can an Infant do that?

My wife and I were so confused until the little thing crawled away again while giggling. Me and my wife looked at each other and then I felt her face flush before abruptly moving away.

”That child shouldn't be alone,” my wife said before she started chasing after the infant and I ended up joining her.

”Damn, where are the servants?” My wife said out of breath

Good point

Are running around over the estate we hadn't found a single servant nor the little infant.

Until we heard her giggling, I listen to her but where is she, I looked around.

”Dear,” My wife tugged my shelves me it made me feel warm inside. But I was my wife's face who was pale and looking up.

My gaze joined her as all the warmth from my face left me. She was on the roof.

How the Hell Did she get up There?

And Yet she was still giggling.
