138 Chapter 12: Swan, Grandma Oshima Visits (1/2)

Takata Norrie sat with her group of friends taking their children. She was envious of her friends, her first child turned out to be a disappointment and her second disappeared without a trace. Although, she took to Chiho instantly, it doesn't feel the same as with her blood related children. Thinking about the both of them she felt…. heartbroken.

She loved Rina but was so disappointed in the young girl. She loved Kai but after he disappeared, she didn't know what to feel. She felt like giving up.

The something grabbed her at attention. It was these two little boys, for some reason they looked a little familiar. The younger was being very peppy, happy, dancing and singing. While the older one whose features where so remarkable similar to…..

”Uncle Kai” the younger on screamed happily ”Come bounce with me, haha”

'Kai' she thought.

The older one couldn't do it he got nervous and softly got out of the bounce house and walked to a young woman and hide behind her. This woman looks exactly like a younger version of her, her breathed stopped.

”Mommy” the younger one ran to her.

”Haru, I told you to go easy on your uncle. Now he's scared”

'Uncle' Norrie couldn't hold herself there anymore, she stood up. But, stood frozen as the young women looked straight at her not pasted her but straight at her. No expression was shown on her face when their eyes meet before she turned around and walked away with the two.

”Wa-”

”Norrie” her friends called her out drawing her attention. When she turned back, the women were gone, making her feel dejected all over again as she sat down. Norrie got home feeling even more depressed when she saw her husband. She never loved him but married him because that is what their families had wanted. She was taught her husband decision would be her decision to. So, when her husband took in a legitimated child, she didn't refuse but cared for the girl and even when he disowned their daughter, she convinced herself it was the right thing to do.

After today, she felt she was wrong. Now her family is gone and so are her children, as their warmth is no longer present in this cold house.

Her old age grows on her making her wonder what she had been doing all her life.

Sawa was lost in thought as her son was dancing to the tunes on the television. Kai was sitting on the floor with Titan on his lap watching his nephew but kept glancing at Sawa.

”Grandma Oshima!” Haru screamed suddenly as he was looking at Oshima who walked in.Oshima embraced the little boy warmly.

”You came to visit,” Sawa said

”I couldn't keep my godson waiting” she smiled before looking at Kai who sat frozen at her sight. ”Wh-”

”Grandma Oshima that's my uncle, Kai.”

”Uncle?” she looked at Sawa who nodded her head and then back at the young boy and smiled sweetly as granny mode was activated. ”Hello, Kai I'm Grandma Oshima. It's a pleasure to meet you” she said as Kai nodded his head in response after glancing at Sawa's face.

Kai was still afraid, but his big sister was here. So, he knew nothing was going to happen to him. He tried to say hi to the elder lady who had his nephew full attention. But, nothing would come out.

Oshima saw that reaction and felt her heartache, after this she plans to have a long talk with Sawa.

”Its okay if it was hard now, you have all the time in the world.”

After a few hours of playing Kai and Haru where asleep. Oshima tucked them both into bed and then watched then sleep before walking out into the leaving room and closing the door behind her.

”Was Korea tiring for you?” Sawa said

”A whole lot?” she responded back as she leaned into the sofa.

”But you found your family, right?”

”I did”

”It wasn't pleasant nor what you were expecting is it”

Oshima trembled ”I was tricked out of my house by my mother-in-law, she hadn't put so many lies about me to my children, my husband...It hurt yes it did, but, its my own children that hurt most, especially how they turned out” she said.

”…” Sawa saw the tears of this heartbroken women and gave the women a warm hug.

”My Son…. My two girls…even my husband…” Her lips trembled ”None of them ended up being worth the effort.”

After calming down ”But, enough about me” she said gently ”I want to know everything, no avoiding any details, Sawa…Everything”
