”How?!” Coney and David looked at each other.
”It was four years ago, right. Before Rose, came to our House” Jake looked at Ashlyn
”Yeah, I sent her to you guys because of the trouble in China got problematic.” She responded back
”Here you go,” the nurse said to Rose as she handed her Winter who was eagerly holding his arms out to Rose, making her expression soften.
”So, Dad is still alive because of Sister,” Anise said trembling as she looked back and forth between Jake and Rose. Jean had already arrived with his father as they listened to the conversation that was going on, they had incense expression.
Anthony just stood in shock as he couldn't process correctly what his grandfather was saying. The witness and savior that they have been looking for these past four years were the women who claimed to have had his kid. He stared at Rose as he then noticed the necklace. It was the necklace his father had gripped tightly on, the one his savior gave him. A golden rose, it started to make sense as her name was Rose. He still didn't know what to say.
”Grandfather, you should get up” Rose making Griffin look she was no longer smiling when she faced him. Before she faced her mother ”We should go.” And then looked at Coney, David, and Jake.
”Are your bags packed?” She asked
”Yeah we packed them last night,” Jake said as Coney and David nodded their heads.
”Bag?” Anthony asked
Griffin ha stood up with Mrs. Hans help. ”Yes, Rose was planning to leave this morning.”
Anna looked conflicted as she didn't know this and went ahead and helped the babysitter take Winter when they were already planning on leaving.
”Grandfather, we are leaving. So, please talk to your family.” Rose said emotionlessly as she followed her mother out of the hospital.
She had, had enough of this family that regularly tested her patients. Although she didn't hate Griffin, he had taken advantage at her kindness to get her to stay in a family that would have a hard time accepting Winter. Even if Anthony and Anise attitude started to change, it was because of their own goals. Anthony wanted to get his crush to like him, and he didn't care for Winter he was just willing to do what she asked to gain her favor. He was still against being called Winter father. While Anise only talked to her nicely because of Jake, she doesn't care for Winter either. Anna never even tried to be nice, she was absolutely against having Rose as her daughter-in-law. Griffin because he was the family head, he tried to force his selfish and conceded family members who have always gotten what they wanted to accept her.
Was Rose going to stay with a family like that who would put her son in jeopardy the way they are?
She was even more upset with Anthony, what right did he have to decide he liked her in the end. Not, after all, he did to her. She couldn't and wouldn't stand for it, and she wasn't the type of heroine that would all of a sudden like him because he was nice to her, she wasn't the same heroine that got herself killed because of naively.
She always hated stories like that, why did the heroines, in the end, got back to the selfish and arrogant male leads that ruined their lives. What right did they have to love someone they mistreated so badly and still think they had rights to chase after her. That wasn't going to happen to her she was going to make Sure of it.
