102 Chapter 15: Winter, Questionable Change (1/2)

Rose laid her head down on the bed, and she gazed at Winter who slept in a crib some distance away. She fell asleep as she listened to his soft breaths andwalked outside as she got ready to walk to school

”Get in,” Anthony said as she walked out the door, his comment shocked her at first before she responded. He was on his motorcycle.

”No, you don't have to” Rose said before she turned and started to walk away

”No, wait” Rose ignored him as she continued to walk ”I'm sorry,” he said making her stop. She turned giving him a dull expression.

”Are you serious about giving me a ride?”

”Yes”

”Okay,” she said, ”I'll trust you” She grabbed the helmet he handed to her and jumped his bike.

Rose noted that he drove her to school but didn't comment on it as she said thank-you before rushing Inside. She was early, so barely anyone was here.

”Ah! Rose, you're here early” she heard June from behind her

”Yes, I usually walk, but it seems today Anthony gave me a ride”

”He did…. I have something important to tell.”

”What is it?” he grabbed her hand lightly

”Let her go” Anthony said

”I'll go on ahead” Rose shrugged off June's hand and went inside.

These past few days ended up being quiet. The rumors also seemed to disperse. As No one bothered her, but, Anthony, he seemed to stick around and had been acting nice to her. Much to Anna displeasure and Griffins delight. Rose had also kept in regular contact with Jean.

Only 25 more days I am left.
