6 Chapter 6: Hero’s Chronicle, Belvin Village (1/2)
It had been a few months since then.
Breton had become an obedient little brother, Maxfield has been more relaxed than ever. Their family time sessions in his study had greatened his mood by ten-fold. Deacon still hates Maxfield but doesn't dare to do anything to on account of Glass.
Glass also made it aware to her father that she is studying swordsmanship and making her style. She made sure that it seemed like a child's whims. This gave Glass an excuse to practice with a wooden every day which buffed up her strength. Breton who saw his older sister practicing wanted to join in too. As he also started practicing with the sword along with her.
Glass had decided to go to the barracks she had never been there before because she hated the guards more than the maids. Roughhousing dirty slimes, they all were, since they were all like that, she didn't mind beating them horribly and smashing their pride.
At that thought, Glass stopped ”I'm not becoming a sadist am I” No good if she thought like that then. No wonder all the guards were slimes.
As she approached, she heard the disgusting chatter that was happening among them. Glass gritted her teeth. She wants to whip them into shape. But soon realized what she was here for. She needed the Trio.
”Miss Glass” she turned her face towards the man that called her, sure enough, it was one of the trios. Glass had forgotten to put a name to his face since it felt irrelevant, his name Tally Maine.
”I need to see the three of you.” She said as he nodded and led her to the other two. Once Deacon, Tally and the other one named Jeb where all together, Glass cast a small spell to make sure no can hear them.
”We are going on a small field trip” she announced
”Where to,” Jeb said
”Belvin Village,” she said, ”Or at least what will; the of it.”
”What do you mean?” Deacon asked
”Queen Vivian will be assassinated at Belvin village” the trio eyes bulged on shock ”Lady Angela will hunt she and her children. To cover her tracks, she will silence Belvin Village by burning it down.”
Their eyes became profoundly dangerous as they listen. Even though Glass was a six-year-old child, they believed it.
”Our goal is to save the second prince and his younger sister, and the last remained survivor.”
”Not the village, or Queen,” Tally asked.
”Impossible without consequences.”
”What do you mean?”
”Lady Angela's son is the third prince. She had already painstakingly killed off the first prince without being caught. If we interfere, we will become target who will have to face multitudes of assassins in the future. Unfortunately, we will only be able to save these three safely.” They nodded at her words.
”How are we getting there?” said Deacon
”I have ways” Glass smiled before leaving.
First Prince Rigaud died while she was comatose. Otherwise, she would have saved him. As for the Second prince Henry, the original story was that after the deaths of his mother and sister he left to the neighboring country and spent years building their trust to get revenge on Lady Angela. Thus, triggering the Invasion from the kingdom of Laius.Which succeeded, and Lady Angela was executed.
As for the survivor of Belvin Village, her name is Mayuri, and she became an assassin after the village's destruction. A Femme Fatale with an exceedingly cruel nature and is considered one of the hardest boss battles in the game. Mayuri had gotten the third prince to fallen in love with her. She had used him to weaken the government and helped Laius and Henry capture Lady Angela. She killed the third prince after torturing him in the end.
Ten years afterward was the beginning of the game Hero's Chronicle
Glass had given the three a meet-up location a little later after she left. It was now night as she sat in the storage area of Hall estate. The three showed-up not too long afterward fully geared and ready for a fight. She smiled, the reason why Glass had brought them was that it would be strange for her to show up alone.
”Alright you three come closer,” she said as she cast a spell in her mind. Glass's body began to glow as she teleported them.
Belvin Village was in a blazing flame they heard the bloody screams of the villagers throughout the area, the eyes of the trio looked terrible as they saw the ongoing flames.
”Deacon, Tally, go towards the west side of the village theirs is a small broken hut the queen is hiding there with her children. Quickly, the assassins have yet to discover them.” They headed off. It may be possible for them to save the Queen, Glass thought to herself. ”Jeb. We are going to look for the survivor.” He nodded and followed Glass who sprinted off north to find Mayuri. At this point there weren't any screams as all the villagers seemed to have been burnt. Glass was looking left to the right for a house with a small flower, that was Mayuri home. After moments of looking through houses, she finally found it.
”Jeb, this one” She stopped and pointed at the house.
As she entered Glass saw the charred corpse of Mayuri parents. They were on top of a hidden door that had an unconscious Mayuri inside. ”We need to move them. She's under there.” Glass said as Jeb moved the bodies. Glass opened the lid of the hidden door. Mayuri was laying there, Jeb picked her up.
