Seeing that they had no objection, Li Qiushuang continued:

”in five minutes, you can choose one of the 18 bronzes that you think is the most valuable. We will have a professional evaluation team and the distinguished guests present to evaluate it on the spot.”

Fang Yang and Fang Yihan nodded at the same time: ”OK, that's the decision.”

Li Qiushuang said: ”in this case, then I announce that the gambling fight begins! Good luck to you

Fang Yihan was like water. From small to large, he came into contact with bronzes most. He is also an expert in this field.

Bronzes refer to the bronzes of the Shang Dynasty, the Western Zhou Dynasty and the spring and Autumn period. These bronzes are mainly made of copper and are cast with a small amount of tin and lead. The color of the bronzes is bluish gray, hence the name.

The main types are tools, weapons, cooking utensils, food utensils, wine utensils, water utensils, beer utensils, chariot utensils, etc. The inscriptions are treasures of calligraphy.

The bronze objects of Shang Dynasty and early Western Zhou Dynasty are dignified and heavy in shape, fine and gorgeous in ornamentation, mostly Taotie pattern, Kui dragon pattern, animal pattern and geometric pattern; the inscriptions are vigorous and simple, generally with few words.

From the middle of the Western Zhou Dynasty to the middle of the spring and Autumn period, the style tended to be simple, the shape was unrestrained, and the ornamentation was mostly geometric patterns with fine lines, but the long inscriptions were more than before.

From the late spring and Autumn period to the Warring States period, the seven patterns are light and thin. Besides animal patterns and geometric patterns, there are also patterns of hunting, war and banquets carved with fine lines.

Bronze objects are made of copper tin alloy with strong hardness, which is convenient for long-term collection. Moreover, the shapes of bronze utensils are different, simple and elegant, and the lines are smooth, which is beyond the reach of other antiques.

As for the identification of bronzes, we first compare them with the real ones one by one from the aspects of copper quality, casting technology, shape, decoration and inscriptions.

The shape, ornamentation and inscriptions of the real utensils are consistent, but there are often contradictions between the various aspects of the fake utensils.

Secondly, the rust color on the surface of the utensil is naturally formed after long-term corrosion. It is compact and metallic, and is connected with the body.

In particular, copper rust has penetrated into the interior of the utensils and into the patterns or inscriptions. The surface rust color of the artifact is usually made by fast corrosion method, which is characterized by thin and floating on the surface.

The thick pseudo rust is usually made of lacquer. It is gray and dull. It has neither metallic luster nor layers. It floats on the surface of the ware, loose and easy to fall off, exposing the new copper floor.

Thirdly, from the aspect of shape, there is a set rule for the shape and system of all kinds of ancient Chinese bronzes. For example, some people hold a piece of Shi Songzhen and say it was from the Warring States period, which must be fake.

Fourth, the patterns and inscriptions of the real objects are natural and vivid, and the style is simple and vivid. However, the artifact is inflexible, loose and lifeless.

Fifthly, there are often contradictions among the shape, decoration and inscription of the artifacts. Moreover, if the nature of the inscriptions is not in accordance with the type of the objects, or if the location and style of the inscriptions are not in accordance with the format, they may be forgeries.

According to the past experience, Fang Yihan kept flashing among the exhibits. It's only five minutes. It's still very urgent.

In contrast, Fang Yang is more direct, because he knows nothing and knows nothing. It's a good way to reduce the Qi transportation of Fang Yihan to extremely bad, and adjust your own luck to excellent.

Looking around, I really didn't have any patience, so I found the one with the strongest aura by the golden eye. I went over and took it in my hand, but it was a Leikai: ”this one, I think it's more pleasing to the eye.”

All the onlookers laughed. There is no other reason. Among the 18 bronzes in the hall, this one is probably the worst.

Although Leiyang's natural action is to plant baozi in his heart!
