William wanted to find out why Garou had done this. The words of Garou echoed in his mind and it's implications. Doing calculations in his head, it all made sense.
Garou had been hiding his true colors, he always told him that he wanted to be a hero but this was far from the truth. In fact, Garou had always wanted just to challenge himself and destroy heroes everywhere. How could William know this? Garou now had the same eyes as one with hate, rage and the desire to dominate, along with an unhealthy amount of disdain. The same eyes that were in all the villains he saw who weren't just insane by villains standards.
Gritting his teeth, William shouted, ”Were you just pretending? Were you my friend just to gain more power? To try to learn the martial arts that I modified?” Garou just said, ”of course.”no more words were necessary.To create a cold feeling in William's head, rage was building in his mind. But this rage didn't turn into an outburst it turned into focus and pushing his cultivation to new heights as his Automatic Cultivation of the Martial Chi-god level 1 was forcefully activated.
The 10th level of chi condensation was forcefully upgraded to the 11th and then something clicked. A shattering sound emanated from within the body. Power emanated from his body and picked up the unconscious bodies of his fellow disciples and pushed back Bang towards the door, outside the range of the influence of his power.
He then reached Core Foundation Level 1 and then 2, stabilizing at 3 and slowly approaching 4 but not quite reaching it.
His cultivation at the 4th rank of Core foundation and Ten activated, His ren pushed Garou against the wall nearly killing him but then Bang gave William a look. And said, ”Please spare him.” as Garou lost consciousness hearing those last pitying words. William sighed and said, ”I used just enough force to put him in a hospital bed for at least 1 month, I would never kill a former friend no matter how badly he has fallen.”
They would soon regret sparing him.
