52 Destroyers Defense (1/2)

”They're leaving,” Fay reported to the man who she had placed herself by. She didn't sound like she regretted anything, even leaving the Jedi Order. However that was just because she had made a choice. Follow the Order or Follow the Force. She chose the latter, abandoned the former.

Smiling softly as he heard this, Valad was standing on the bridge looking over at the holographic projection of the former Jedi Master. His demeanor seemed clam, nothing out of the ordinary. ”I'm guessing they're going to go an report to their High Council?” He was expecting this, he wanted this. Chaos and turmoil was the only place the Jedi could exist, otherwise they'll pull each other apart.

Plus, if they know the sith have a grip over the senate, they are likely to be discreet. Unless Windu tries to take things into his own hands without waiting for the rest of the Council. It was all his fault Order 66 happened when it did.

Shaking his head slightly, he looked towards the space surrounding the massive vessel he now called home for the time being. He opened the shop interface for his own skills and began scrolling through it. He didn't bother ending the transmission and it didn't seem as if Fay minded. It looked like he was just staring at her, but she didn't feel the normal lust he had given he to perceive.

Instead there was just admiration in its place, had he been egging her on with these desires and emotions? She knew he could control his emotions to a degree and even completely make his presence disappear. He even had Force Resistance which would stop her from reading his emotions, but he just didn't use it.

Had he just been trying to get a reaction out of her? Make her uncomfortable? He wanted to see how far she would go, it seems. The Jedi Master let her mind fill with thoughts pertaining to the boy. He was definitely a curiosity to the force.

She closed her eyes and retained her meditative posture, the world around her slowly cleared away. It was her escape from everything but the force. The voices, so pleasant and calming.

As he scrolled through the force abilities section of the shop, he would come across the ability known as Teleportation, an ability Vaylin's father very much happened to use. It was a rather annoying feat should other people have it.

Purchasing the technique, he assumed he was going to have to use it eventually in the coming days of war. That and if he wanted to visit someone without having to wait, this was one way to achieve it.

A grin formed over his lips as he felt the warmth uncompass him, the knowledge seeping into his mind. The technique was completely engraved into his being, as if it was now part of him.

He took in a deep breath and then shakily released. He closed his eyes and leaned his head back before opening them again as he stared at Vaylin who was now holding the sides of his head and staring at him while he was 'upside down.'

”Hi there,” Vaylin said with a brow raised slightly, staring into his eyes. ”What'cha doin'?”

Turning to face her as he took his head out of her grasp, before his neck or back could break from bending in the wrong direction. ”Thinking, planning.” He closed one eye and stared through her, reaching out and gently caressing her jawline with his fingers.

She turned a light shade of pink when she felt his touch, she tilted her head down a bit as she grasped his hand. A small smile of her own forming.

He then turned around and looked out the viewport, his hand grasped in hers, he brought her to his side. Their eyes focused on the small cruiser which left the hangar and after clearing the planet's shadow mass and natural gravitational field, jumped into hyperspace.

Valad's eyes however centered back onto the split which went along the hull for several kilometers, and itself was two kilometers in width. He selected the ship part of the shop, selected star destroyers.

He knew the planet needed a defense. So the first thing he decided to do was use his favorite element, surprise. He selected for three Chiss Star Destroyers to be built. Each one was between nine hundred meters and one thousand meters. They were highly capable of destroying other capital class ships and had plenty of room in their hangars for fighters.

These vessels were equipped with cloaking devices, megamasers and various other weapons which by far makes the known galaxy weak in comparison. Though they'd be weak against a large concerted fighter assault, it was unlikely that they'd be bested with their number of clawcraft fighters.

These vessels came in a similar form as the Victory Class Star Destroyer used by the Galactic Republic during its waning years of the Clone Wars and later by the Empire and Galactic Alliance. It's hull was long and sleek, giving it a needle like appearance and lacked a command superstructure like the typical Imperial design, keeping the enemy from getting an easy target.

Personally he thought this design was more effective than the Empire's Imperial Star Destroyer series and was better armed than the later models of the Star Destroyer unless he want to go extremely far into the technological prowess of the Legends continuum.

Valad didn't think it'd be a good idea to introduce so much amazing tech in the first place.

Thanks to his system, it didn't take months or weeks for the ships to be created. The Fabrication Section was using what was known as a 3D Printing System, from demolecularized resources which had been brought through the use of the system. Piece by piece the three destroyers began to come into existence within the center of the split at a rapid pace. To many onlookers it would look like a line of light was creating a vessel from thin air.

Vaylin who hadn't really been paying attention glanced down and blinked a few times. When did those get there? How were they being built so fast? She stared at it as she reached out with the force for an explanation.

The answer was strange. This technology was immense, heavily influenced by something unknown. It felt like the distortion which had found her in that isolated room on her father's homeworld. She shivered slightly and looked over at him, seeing Valad smiling.
