45 Absolute Monarchy (1/2)
The Trade Federation had been defeated. Nute Gunray's blood bathed the tiled grounds of the throne room floors. Murdered by the Queen who declared a new Treaty would be signed, with his death. His adjacent was sent back to the Republic in Chains, charged for crimes against the Galaxy and the people of Naboo.
The streets were filled within the week of festivities which followed the lifting of the occupation. The droids were defunct and nothing more than scrap metal. There was nothing stopping the Royal Security Forces from cleaning the streets and restoring peace amongst the people.
”The people of Naboo, my people, had suffered enough from the plague which riddles the Galactic Republic!” She was dressed in a red ceremonial dress, a headdress on her head making her short hair big and brown. Her face was painted white and she had matte black and red on her lips. A black dot on either cheek.
Her fingernails were done just like they always had, white crescents decorated their tips, honoring her beginnings.
She made her declaration in front of the crowd. Jedi, Republic Representatives and the Judicial forces of the Galactic Power which they were apart of. ”Tyranny was the way of the Trade Federation! They deprived the children of their food! They stormed our homes and enslaved our people! Forced them into camps, killed anyone who resisted! Even attacked the Gungans deep within the reserves of our world! They were nothing but Butchers!”
She slandered the Trade Federation, her normal unbiased tone was not seen here. She sounded furious, emphasizing the feeling of the naboo citizens who were in attendance.
”The Masters of the Jedi Order saved our people when the senate were unable to do so! They uncovered the work of the Sith were in the mists of this incident! No more! No more!”
She shed light on the source of this problem, this attack on her people. Gasps and anger. The senate had been known to be skeptical about the Queen's claim when she had fled all the way to Coruscant to ask for help.
She returned with the same amount of people she had left with. Yet she was able to unite the people of Naboo and fight off the incursion. This was unexpected by the Sith, especially by Plagueis who assumed she would have been incredibly easy to manipulate from the beginning. Yet he was wrong, very wrong.
”We! The People of the Naboo, Gungan and Human Alike will not stand for this to ever happen again. With the support of the Royal Advisory Board and the Security Forces, I hereby decree the reinstatement of the Hereditary Monarchy of Naboo!”
Her announcement made many people excited. The 2-term and 4-term systems which the election system had gone by for the past few decades were absolutely unpopular. Even when she had tried implementing it before, she found people (especially governors) disliked it.
”Four terms is not enough to protect the people of Naboo! Only a lifetime may allow us to prosper within our liberties! A kingdom without its people, isn't a Kingdom at all!”
The Libertarian Hereditary Monarchy of Naboo was founded in the Year 968 ARR, After the Ruusan Reformation. The only wars they would permit is Liberation Wars and Defensive ones. They saw no reason to expand outside of the Chommell sector, but began making deals with shipyards across the galaxy in order to form their own Naboo Special Defense Forces.
With the help of an unknown figure, supporting the Queen of Naboo, the other nations within the Chommell Sector were brought together in order to form a treaty. This turned all the other planets within the sector into their Vassals, to be integrated within half a decade into a singular interstellar Kingdom.
...
”How does this thing even work!?” Vaylin shouted as the Delta-12 starfighter did loops and flips through the vacuum of outer space. It barreled over an incoming barge, infuriating a captain who was observing.
Valad laughed aloud, ”Be careful!” He reached over and steady her hold on the joystick and leveled them out, allowing them to fly 'straight' ahead. They had been staying within the Chrommell sector for a short while after Valad had been rewarded with the whole death of Anakin and the Hereditary Monarchy was reestablished.
He was rather excited to see what Amidala would build without him present on the planet. He had to admit his encounter with her had changed her, but to him it was for the best.
Anakin Skywalker would have turned to the Dark Side should Plagueis had taken hold of him. He knew the Dark Lord of the Sith was just as cunning and manipulative as Palpatine. He didn't want the Queen to be taken away from him, so he had no choice.
Now at least the Jedi initiates and younglings could rest easy at night, not having to fear a man with a blue lightsaber slaughtering them. The Jedi Watchman at the Temple didn't have to be worried about being cut down by his own friend, a fellow Jedi. Many lives thousands and even millions of lives were saved by his decision.
He let that settle into his mind. To him it felt right, even if it had involved the death of a nine year old belonging to a prophecy of the balance.
The fighter quickly entered hyperspace after Valad switched seats with Vaylin, who had been learning how to fly a starfighter. It had been amusing, but her flying skills needed some (alot) of work. Once they entered hyperspace, they both seemed to relax as R9-9D took the wheel once again.
”So... You plan on Conquering the Unknown Regions?” She asked curiously, looking over at him. She wanted to know what kind of ruler he was going to be. She could already tell that he was capable of doing this that had to be done.
Abide, she didn't know that he had just murdered a nine year old child. Not that would have changed her perspective. She would have done the same thing if she knew he would turn around and slaughter children whom had been much younger than he when he got older.
”The Rakatan Archipelago, it has seven solar systems and about the same number of planets. Each one has or had tribes of Rakata settled on them after the fall of their Infinite Empire.” He introduced the knowledge which he knew about the location and what was present in that area of space. ”From what I understand, there are only two technologically advanced ones on Tulpaa andMakatak. I'm going to assume we'll be going against the descendants of their slaves, unless they went unaffected by the plague that ravaged their species.” He looked over at the girl as she moved into his lap, straddling over him like before.
A grin crept over her lips as she loomed over him, standing on her knees with her legs spread around his lap. ”But why such an isolated place?”
If she was anyone else, Valad would assumed she was just getting information out of him to steal his idea and then kill him. He however knew that she could be trusted and she couldn't go against him.
”The space stations they have are based off the design of the Star Forge.” His lines rung throughout her ears. Before her imprisonment she had heard of the exploits of Revan's Sith Empire, the very station they used to fabricate an endless fleet of warships and wardroids.
”Stations?” Vaylin's eyes narrowed on him, noticing the plural. There was more than one of them there? Her jaw wanted to unhinge and fall to the ground, but it didn't. She just kept it clenched shut in case it tried on its own.
”Yes, two of them, one at each of the worlds I've named.” Valad stated with a light smile across his lips as he reached up and slowly began to undo her white Zakuul styled tunic. Once he loosened it, he gently brought his hands up her back, caressing the skin beneath her clothes. He licked his lips slightly as he muted the droid's complaints.
Vaylin shuddered as she felt his fingers trace her spine, her mouth opening slightly as she pressed the top of her head against the canopy. A quiet moan releasing from her lips as her hands grasped at the tunic's soft material covering his shoulders.
She'd then shrink a bit into him, relaxing her shoulders and sitting in his lap with her knees resting up against his hips. Her forehead pressed against his as she smiled bashfully, beginning to shiver as she felt him lifting her tunic with his hands as they moved up her back.
Vaylin was still not used to this kind of attention, despite her actions almost warranting it.
He tilted his head up and pressed his lips against hers, shifting in his seat until she had her up against the dash. His hands in her tunic and grasping under her arms. They tugged at each others lips, grazing them teasingly with their teeth every now and then.
