27 Karazak System (1/2)
”Don't push! Don't push! Stay in line and await processing!” A holler lingered over several thousand abducted species from all across the galaxy. Mandalorians, Half-Humans, Twi'lek, Torgruta, the reclusive Chiss species, you name it. It's likely that they'll be found here.
Men stood on all sides of the procession, armed with electric rods and light whips. Anyone who started up was given a jab or a wack. This was the Karazak Cooperative's Slave Processing Center on the planet surface near their headquarters.
”Mama, I don't wanna go!” A child whined, most of the guards ignored them. Children were known to be fussy, there was no point in disciplining them unless they got out of line.
”It's okay baby, just keep walking forward,” a young woman had her hands on the child's shoulders. Of course her wrists were cuffed, but the child's neck was thin. It was a perfect fit.
The tunnels of this world was controlled by the Cooperative, and so was the rest of the surface. Though they didn't have a massive military force, they had a small militia of armed beings under their employ.
The child dragged her feet through the mud, a guard caught her before she could fall over, and got her back onto her feet. Then ushered the mother forward with the kid.
”Don't slow down the line,” The man warned with a distinct coldness towards the two of them. He was a bald man in cobalt blue plastoid torso armor, knee and shin guards. It was cheap and efficient for his line of work.
The slaves were getting closer to the tunnels of the processing center. Yet, as they were marching alongside one another, they all came to a halt as a massive shadow began to be cast over them from above. Guards, slaves and Cooperative Officials paused in their work to look towards the sky.
”Trade Federation?” One of the Guards asked aloud, seeing privateer ships being shot out of the sky as they commenced their approach on the donut shaped vessel. His eyes narrowed as he heard a distinct screeching sound. ”What is–” He was cut off as a squadron of Advanced TIE droid Intercepters went flying directly overhead, chasing a handful of bounty hunter owned Z-95 Headhunter fighters.
One of the Officials glared towards the ship. ”Did they fail the contract?” This man was none other than one of the higher ups overseeing the slave processing. He had been in charge of being the liaison between the Slaver Syndicate and the InterGalactic Banking Clan's Magister.
Sadly this was Darth Plagueis way of figuring out what the young Valad was capable of after he was contacted by the Trade Federation's Viceroy. Learning his projected hyperspace trajectory, he had made swift work in creating a one-time bounty that would expire after one team won or failed to complete it.
Not only had the test fail to yield results, but so did the bounty. These unknown ships were coming out of the Trade Federation vessel like clockwork. Many of the Vulture Droids had been recycled into these Tie Fighter Droids.
H shaped vessels could be seen descending towards the planet surface from the skies above. Many of the B1 battle droids had been recycled into Commando Droids wearing plastic imitations of mandalorian armor, OOM-Droids and B2 Battledroids.
The dark grey C-9979 landing crafts which landed upon the grounds opened and began to unleash their armies. AAT-1 tanks came rolling out first, securing the landing location, Commando Droids, Droidekas and OOM-Droids came soon after. The Commando-Droids dressed as Mandalorians manned armed swoops, equipped with a pistol and vibroblade on their backs.
”Is this... An invasion?!” The Official was speechless, he hadn't seen this coming. Was this planned all along? If they had succeeded, this would had been a mutually beneficial gain. ”Shit... We should have sent elites...”
His Communicator disk chimed and Darth Plagueis appeared as he pulled it off his belt. ”What is your report?” Though he already knew as soon as he saw the face the official was making.
”We failed... He's invading.” He slowly lowered his head as he could hear the synthetic chuckle from Plagueis.
