22 Human Replica Droid (1/2)

Being caught red handed with a naked girl, other than Padmé wasn't exactly how he wanted to be caught. Especially being caught by Padmé which made it worse. However the moment he had regrets of being seen, an epiphany came to mind.

The Trade Federation within a month will try to kidnap the Queen. They will also eventually invade to get a hold of the Queen. If they're unable to get the real Queen, then they'd never be able to get their pitiful treaty signed.

That and if the Queen didn't have to sacrifice one of her Decoys, it seemed that getting a Human Replica droid would be the best idea out there. However, the only problem was, they were several decades away from getting that kind of technology. The most that they'd be able to do is buy one that had an appearance of Padmé with synthetic skin and internals. It just wasn't perfected and it took more than three months to develop.

They were already almost out of time to prepare for this blockade which was inevitably coming.Opening the shop, he gave a glance at his available credits. There were plenty for him to use, he searched 'human replica droid' in the shop and a voucher immediately showed up.

Description: Human replica droids, or HRDs, were sophisticated synthskin and biofiber-covered droids designed to be nearly indistinguishable from Humans. Their design was similar enough to Human anatomy that even high-quality medical scanners were not always able to identify them as inorganic, although they were able to discern some differences from the typical Human. They were sometimes referred to as ”meatdroids” or ”droid clones.”

Looking at the information on the tab, he nodded to himself which made Padmé a bit more anger as she stared at him. He reached out with two fingers and sealed the door. The green light blinking beside the door turned to a solid red, signally a lockdown of the pocket door. It could only be opened up from the inside, with his own password.

”Hey, what are you doing?!” Padmé asked with a raised tone, but it could only be muffled by the door. Even as Panaka walked by, he didn't hear anything out of the norm.

”It isn't what you think.” He tried to defuse the original understanding. He pointed towards the glass bottle of cologne on the nightstand. It was clear she could recognize the label.

”Is that a Zeltron aphrodisiac?” She was clearly not amused, well, she was but wasn't showing it. Padmé waas clearly wearing a poker face. However, the next thing he said would make her mind go wild with possibilities.

”Please, remove your clothes.” Valad's voice sounded nonchalant which made Padmé gave him a skeptical look. She refrained from doing so, without a good explanation at least.

Letting out a light sigh, he contemplated tearing her clothes from her through the use of the force. Yet, that would make a rather big problem. Even though she was dressed in that handmaiden outfit of hers, she wouldn't be able to leave the room. Plus this could be considered sexual assault on the Queen.

Unless he went even deeper with his Indoctrination, there was no way he'd get away with that.

”I'd like to do a medical scan, to create a new decoy.” His voice wasn't nonchalant this time, and he said it rather slowly so it would register. Though she didn't quite understand what he meant by create a decoy.

Furrowing her brow, she stared at him for a moment. ”What do you mean by create a new Decoy?” She wasn't going to strip just because she was told to, and this just sounded like an excuse to show herself to this man.

”A human replica droid. Should you be in any form of imminent danger, this decoy can replace you. Unless they are a force sensitive with the imminent knowledge of machines and power sources, it is unlikely they would tell the difference. Think of it as a... Droid Clone.”

This explanation sounded too good to be true, and when she thought back, she barely remembered him actually lying to her. Well, she generally didn't know if he ever lied to her. She never tried to figure out if he did.
