Chapter 104 - Parville Merchants’ Corps (1/2)
Parville Merchants’ Corps, that was the name written on the message. Seeing such an unexpected name at an unexpected place, Soo Hyuk stared at the man with a shocked expression.
The man held his dagger pointing it at Soo Hyuk.
‘What should I do?’
Soo Hyuk was about to wipe the whole group at one go, however, that was before he knew that this group of people belonged to Parville Merchant’s Corps.
He felt like he was in an awkward position. But it wouldn’t have been a problem if he didn’t have any connections with the man in front. It was all because of the quest that he accepted from Pavian.
“Leave him half dead.”
Soo Hyuk, who was still internally agonizing, snapped out of his thoughts upon hearing the man shout. Right now, he was not in the place to worry about other matters.
‘Anyways, the quest only required me to look for a place.’
He had no clue how the special quest ‘Parville’s Legacy’ would proceed. The quest shouldn’t have any connection with the merchants’ corps, since the purpose of that quest is to find the place where Parville held his regrets.
“Poison Storm!”
After calculating, Soo Hyuk summoned a Poison Storm.
The storm appeared as soon as he summoned it, not only did it engulf those who were approaching, but it also engulfed everyone else.
“Arghh!”
“Arghh! It’s burning!”
“W-Water, water!”
Poison Storm, one of its special effects was poisoning anyone who was caught in the storm. The whole Red Wolf Gang were poisoned by various different poisons, and in pain, they were screaming. Soon after, a message appeared in front of Soo Hyuk.

Ross looked around the room.
“Hmm…”
Examining the interior, he spat and frowned As he turned towards the man sitting on the opposite side and said.
“I don’t know much about your merchants’ corps, but.”
Ross said. In front of Ross was Heron, the commander of the Cospian Squad.
“It seems this place is much smaller, are you sure you’re going to stay in a place like this?”
“…Yeah.”
Heron replied with a bitter look on his face.
“I don’t want to die.”
“Do you think that I’ll kill you?”
“Ross, you don’t care much about what’s going on in the corps, don’t you?.”
“Are you not satisfied with being awarded with the vice captain position for the great Parville Merchants’ Corps?”
To Ross’s question, Heron couldn’t reply for a moment.
However, shortly after, he replied with a curt nod.
“Yes, I wasn’t.”
“Well, if that’s what you think.”
Ross said as if he understood and responded while nodding his head.
“But…”
Then, in a quiet voice, he continued.
“I’d like to hear in detail about the contents of the letter.”
“Is it really the great thief Kelta?”
Ross’s arrival at the Cospian Merchants’ Corps was not just to confirm the safety of his youngest brother.
But because of Heron’s letter, which contained information about Kelta, whom no one could find.
“Yes.”
“But why did you send me that letter?”
Ross wondered. Why did he send information about the great thief Kelta’s secret cave? Pushing aside his depressed emotions, Heron began to answer Ross’s question.
“To be honest, I needed strength. Strength that I could trust.”
Yes, power, that’s what he needed but at the same time, he needed that strength from someone trusted.
“As you can see from the scale from our size, Cospian Merchants’ Corp might be powerful but not enough to bear the consequences that would come from obtaining the treasures of Kelta.”
Although it may take some time, Cospian had the ability to find Kelta’s treasure.
But the problem was once they found the treasures. Countless people would reach out to them, and above all, this was the town of mercenaries. It didn’t matter how many managers they had, once a mess was created, it would be hard to stop it.
“When I was thinking of someone powerful but could be trusted, I immediately thought of you.”
After giving out his reasoning, Heron smiled and impressed with the answer, Ross smiled too.
“Where is it?”
Still, with a smile on his face, Ross asked.
“Here…”
Pulling out the map Heron showed the spot to Ross.
“Is this the exact location?”
Looking at the map, Ross raised his head and asked.
“No.”
“…”
“The location of the cave is well hidden.”
“So, does anyone know the location?”
“I have the key to the cave, but I don’t know where it’s located. And the one who knew ran away before I could catch him.”
“You want me to find him.”
Ross asked while picking up the map.
“Carten.”
While holding the map sideways, he called out a name. Soon a man appeared out of the thin air in front of them.
“Did you call for me?”
The man named Carten asked.
Heron looked at Carten with a very confused expression on his face. Carten was a bodyguard from the shadows of Parville that was assigned to the top executives of the Parville Merchants’ Corp.
The shadows of Parville were experts well known for their excellent physical prowess and versatile abilities such as stealth.
Heron also had one assigned to him, but was retracted when he left the corps. If he had one of the shadows with him, he wouldn’t have to go through the trouble of asking for help.
“Tell the wolves to find him.”
