If both Princess Qian Qian and Xue Tan Lang's match was akin to killing a mosquitos with sledgehammer, Yue Yang's match was akin to kill mosquitos using a mere paper fan, in other words, he was using suitable force to deal with opponents's strengths.
After all, both Princess Qian Qian and Xue Tan Lang were still a 10 years old, thus they were still not capable to used their strength and technique appropriately.

Combat technique wise, Yue Yang was stronger than both Xue Tan Lang and Princess Qian Qian. However Yue Yang will not look down on them. After all their guardian beast were very strong.
Xue Tan Lang possessed rare elemental type beast 'Violent Tornado' that able to complemented his ice technique.
As for Princess Qian Qian, her guardian beast was more outrageous. It was a strengthening type beast 'Western White Tiger'. In the future, this beast will be able to easily level up to Platinum rank, thus made it possessed qualifications to become Holy beast.
Right now though, Yue Yang guess that maybe this beast was already at gold rank, similar to Esdeath. However if the two of them were to fight, there was no doubt that Esdeath will win, after all Esdeath was a humanoid beast with vast battle experience.
However without Esdeath, Yue Yang will had a difficulty against Princess Qian Qian if she decided to used her beast to strengthen her own body, unless Yue Yang were to used his skills from gacha such as [Kage Bunshin no Jutsu] or movement skill [Shunpo].
At this moment, Yue Yang's pondering were interrupted by the host's voice.
The preliminaries was over, and now there are only fewer participants left.
”Now that the preliminaries was over, we will advance to the quarter finals. The first match will be a fight between Yue Yang vs Yue Tian!”
Yue Yang can't helped but to take a look at the match board. There are 8 people left. If Yue Yang win against Yue Tian, he will advance to semi final against Xue Tan lang, and finally against the tigress in the final.
Yue Yang really want to curse at whoever made this match arrangements. Obviously this arrangements was made to make Yue Yang battle Xue Tan Lang and Princess Qian Qian simultaneously since both of them will never lose against the rest of participants.
At this time, Yue Yang's thought was interrupted by a voice full of resentment.
”Yue Yang, hurry up and get here! Or what? Are you too scared to meet your doom? Don't think that this was unfair because I had a year start in contracting grimoire. In the banquet last night you were clamouring that you will defeat Princess Qian Qian and Xue Tan Lang, but I'll make you lose face by defeating you here first!”, shout Yue Tian with voice loud enough for the whole audiences to heard it.
Hearing this, Yue Yang's reply was only a sneer in his face. Only dogs that will barking that loud in order to attract attentions.
Yue Yang only keep quiet and walk confidently to the match ring with steady steps, as if he didn't hear Yue Tian's provocations.
This contrast between them only made the audiences to shook their head and give Yue Yang higher evaluations compared to Yue Tian.
After all, this was only friendly match between clans, and Yue Tian hostile attitude toward the same clan member only made him being seen with disdain.
”Now that both participants already prepared, I hereby announce that the match begins!”
Yue Tian immediately summoned his summoned beast, while Yue Yang only stand quietly waiting for Yue Tian to finished his summoning.
Anyway, since Yue Tian decided to seek humiliation himself, Yue Yang will give it to him, in the form of one punch K.O.
