15 Yue Clan’s New Year Tournament, Start! (1/2)

This morning, Yue clan's residence was bustling with activity.

Although it was quite normal since this was Yue clan's main headquarter, the activity was manifold more busy since today was the second day of new year, with Yue clan's new year tournament as the main event.

This new year tournament was an event between four great clans of Feng, Yan, Xue, and Yue clans, with the event locations that was being rotated every year between those of four great clans and royal family.

In other word, every 5 year, each clans or royal family will had a turn to become the new year tournament's host.

This event was made in order to increased the connection between four great clans and royal family, while at the same time showcase their talented younger generations.

This year, it was Yue clan's turn to become the host of this event.

In other word, Yue clan will had a turn to become the host of new year tournament when Yue Yang at age of 10, 15, and 20.

This year, Yue clan as the main focus will be able to showcase their younger generations to other great clans and royal family, thus increasing their prestige.

Usually, the participants of new year's tournament will mainly belong to the tournament's host, while other great clans will only watch and evaluate the host's younger generations.

This way, the host will be the main focus while the other great clans and royal family can prepared their younger generations to showcase their talent when it was their turn to become the host.

This was also the reason for why other great clans younger talent like Yan Po Jun and Feng Qing Sha didn't attend this year banquet, since they were preparing themselves in order to not made their own clan lost face when it was their turn to become new year tournament's host.

Although this was the case, it was also allowed for the younger generations from the other clans to participate in the host clan's tournament.

This year, the prime example of said participant was Princess Qian Qian and Xue Tan lang, a talented younger generations from both Da Xia royal family and Xue clan respectively.

That was why, today's new year tournament was crowded by spectators that come not only from the four great clans, but also other cultivators from Da Xia kingdom, especially the Four Great Sects.

The Four Great Sects possessed positions that exceed the Four Great clans, with their elders that were at least at level 6 [Elder]. Almost all promising talents from the four great clans will be send to the four great sects to nurture their talents, one of such talents was Xue Tan Lang, who was sent to Eastern Ocean Crystal Palace Sect.

Almost all the cultivators that arrived at Yue clan's castle today can't wait to see the confrontations between Princess Qian Qian and Xue Tan Lang against Yue Yang, a new talent that emerged this year from Yue clan.
