9 Start of the Training (1/2)

Early morning in Yue clan's Fourth Branch Residence.

In the courtyard, Yue Yang sit in a chair while he face Fourth mother. Between them was a table that almost full with several book that stack with each other.

”San-er, I already search through and compile these manual from clan's archive that will help you in training. But do you have any preference in weapon?”, ask Fourth mother after she explain each of the manual in table.

”Fourth mother, for now I prefer using blade. It was more easy to master and the offensive power was also quite good, especially when ambushing the enemy. What I need urgently now is to get used to battle since I never fight an enemy before”, said Yue Yang after short contemplation.

”Alright, using blade is also quite good. I'll try to get some blade for you to practice. However, since I'm not a combatant, Fourth mother can't guide you to train. But I'll try to help you in other needs. For example, I can help you to get spirit beasts. Do you have any in mind? I will try to procure it for you as long it was possible”, ask Fourth mother.

”In that case, Fourth mother, please just give me Spitting Thorny Flower. It should be easy to get since Plant-type spirit beasts are not popular in the summoning world”, replied Yue Yang.

”Are you sure San-er, Plant-type spirit beasts are not that strong compare to other type of spirit beast?, ask Fourth mother a bit hesitate.

”It's fine Fourth mother. I have a believe that there are no weak spirit beasts, only weak summoners. As long as I groom it diligently it will grow up to be more powerful in the future”, Yue Yang said with determination.

”In that case, alright then. I can easily buy Spitting Thorny Flower since they were quite cheap. When I go to get Spitting Thorny Flower, you should study all this manual. You shouldn't bite more than you can chew and just pick the manual that was most suitable for you”. Fourth mother ask imploringly.

”Don't worry Fourth mother, I know my own limit. By the way Fourth mother, this maybe quite presumptuous of me but can you ask Yue clan main branch to give me Quintet Seeking Golden Mice. Compare to the other three major clan, our Yue clan is superior in puppeteering, and I want to study it for a bit. Quintet Seeking Golden Mice should be easy to get since they were not precious”, ask Yue Yang in pleading voice.

”And I just told you to not bite more than you can chew. Fine then, I'll get Quintet Seeking Golden Mice for you, but you shouldn't under any circumstances contract them. They were quite useless and only waste summoning pages”, warn Fourth mother.

”Don't worry Fourth mother, I know what I shouldn't do”, replied Yue Yang.

After that, Fourth mother leave the courtyard and made Yue Yang alone in front of pile of manual.

”Well, this will be quite boring, but like they say, knowledge is power. Before I start training, I need to read all this book first so that I'll not train blindly. After I have some means to defend myself, I'll ask Fourth mother to send me to the Ivy academy”, said Yue Yang to himself.

When he already grab a few book and about to read them, he suddenly remember that he still haven't spent his gacha points.

”Damn, I forgot that I have 2 gacha points from last night. I'll spent them first, who knows that maybe I can get something useful”, said Yue Yang while he used his gacha skill.

”Hopefully, I'll get something useful. Spin start!”, Yue Yang said in excitement.

After that, the gacha orb flash with different color for a few times, before finally stop at bronze color.

After that, an item that resemble some dish appear in his inventory.

Yue Yang decide to only eat this food inside his room later since he don't want to have a reputation as exhibitionist pervert.

After that Yue Yang spin gacha once again and hope that he will get something that will help him since he only have one more gacha point.

Not long later, the gacha orb finally stop flashing at gold color, indicating SR rank or gold rank item.

After ensuring that the courtyard was devoid of peoples, Yue Yang tried to used the skill, and it give him all informations regarding shadow clones skill including the hand-seal.

Yue Yang tried to used the hand-seal but failed for a few times since he was not used to made a hand-seal.

After numeroues tried, Yue Yang finally managed to succesfully invoke the hand-seal, and suddenly two identical clones of himself appeared beside him.

”Hahahaha, success!”, said Yue Yang with glee.

”Alright guys, time to study all this manual. I'm not expecting too much, but I hope at least it will give us a direction in training our martial arts”, Yue Yang order his shadow clones.

””Roger, main body””, replied both of shadow clones.

After that, the three of them read the books and training manuals in the table.

However, less than an hour later, Yue Yang disperse both the shadow clones since he can feel that his mana was about to diminished.

Right after he dispersed both of them, Yue Yang was assaulted by a pang in his mind.

The headache keep continue for several minutes until finally dispersed completely, making Yue Yang feel like all the pain was a dream.
