2 Contracting Grimoire (1/2)

After who know how long, the boy slowly regain his consciousness.

He find himself in a room with Chinese decoration that speak of eastern culture.

”San-er, thank goodness you regain your consciousness. I know it's sad to know that both of your parents no longer in this world, but you still have me as fourth aunt to take care of you. No, from now on you must call me fourth mother because I already decide to be your mother in place of your mother”, said a mature beautiful woman toward the boy.

The boy look toward the woman in daze because of her beauty and saw her eyes that a bit red. It's obvious that this woman is crying before.

After staring at daze, the boy then snap out of it.

”I understand.... Fourth mother”, the boy said with a bit of hesitation.

”Umm, I'm sure you're getting hungry after this whole ordeal and fallen unconscious. I'll bring you some tasty food to cheer you up a bit”, the woman then walk out of the room, leaving the boy alone.

The boy then trying to walk toward a mirror to see his own appearance.

He want to confirm wether his suspicions are true or not.

After the boy take a good look at his own face he become dumbfound for a while.

There is no doubt that this is not his own face.

Not to mention this room and previous woman, he know nothing about them.

He open the window of his room to get a good look at the outside.

What the boy saw make him frightened.

Several unknown ferocious beasts flying in the sky with humans that mount them.

The boy thought that maybe the woman earlier is part of a prank but after seeing those ferocious beasts flying in the sky, there is no doubt that this is no longer earth.

The boy sit at the bed and trying to calm down.

He recall the last time he live on earth, when he play his favorite ero gacha game after part time work.

He recall that he got an unknown script that able to transmigrated him to other world after opening a rainbow chest.

After the boy recall his previous memory, the boy finally conclude that he really is transmigrated to Soaring Dragon Continent as Yue Yang.

”Well, since I already transmigrated here then might as well enjoy it. My previous live on earth is boring as hell without any excitement. That's why I addict to play gacha game to fill my time, but now that I really transmigrated to another world I'll live my live to the fullest, hehehe”

Now that the boy finally come to term with his situations, he finally decide to live his new live with his new identity.

He decide to live his new live as Yue Yang.

Now Yue Yang want to plan his future, but before he start to think, the door's room opened by Fourth mother while she enter the room bringing a tray of food.

For now Yue Yang decide to fill his stomach first before he try to think about his future.

After Yue Yang finish his food, he decide to try to ask his Fourth mother to give him a grimoire.

Most likely his golden finger will only be revealed after he possess a grimoire since his cheat is in the form of inherent skill and guardian beast.

Not to mention, he keep frequently have headache and feeling a pain at his soul as though it's about to split in two after arrive in this world.

Most likely the original Yue Yang's soul is still exist in this body along with his soul, and he only gain control of this body temporarily since the original Yue Yang's soul has gotten weaker.

That's why he want to contract his grimoire and unlock his guardian beast: Soul Devouring Beast to devour the original Yue Yang's soul and snatch his memory and experience.

That way, he'll be able to live as Yue Yang more flawlesly without anyone getting suspicious about his identity.

”Are you sure San-er, after all you're still too young. You don't have to be that anxious, after all you're still 9 years old. You still have much time to get stronger”

”No Fourth Mother, I want to try contract grimoire as soon as possible. After my parents die I want to get stronger so that I can protect myself and those around me. I don't want to rely on other people's protections”, said Yue Yang with determination on his face, even though on his mind he's getting anxious while hopefully manage to trick Fourth Mother to accept his new changes without much suspicions.

After getting silent for a bit, Fourth Mother finally agree to his request and told Yue Yang to wait in courtyard even though it's night time.

It's in order to not make a mess inside house in case there is something wrong when Yue Yang trying to contract grimoire.

Fourth mother will also stay beside Yue Yang to safeguard him if anything goes wrong.

She come back with a grimoire, while trying to console him a bit in case he fail to contract a grimoire again.

However Yue Yang is not listening to Fourth mother, instead his attention focus toward the grimoire in fourth mother's hands.

It looked a little bronze with its colour faded and old.

It was strangely thick, two or three times thicker than a normal book.

The cover was even filled with strange, ancient character.

Yue Yang feel deeply attracted toward the book.

This feeling is like when he's still in previous world when he stare at his favorite ero gacha game, waiting for him to start playing the game with his army of heroines that seem like beckoning toward him to spoil them.

Yue Yang subconsciously reached his hands out toward the grimoire in Fourth mother hands, as though he is about to caress his favorite heroines.

Unbeknownst to him, the moment his fingers touch the book, that book suddenly shone with golden light.

The whole courtyard was filled with golden light, startling Fourth mother that stood beside him.

Suddenly an endless flow of knowledge surged into Yue Yang's brain violently.

Yue Yang didn't have time to react as his brain was stuffed with strange knowledge to the brim.

On the other side, the book is still emitting a strong light, as though there were still more knowledge to be transmited.

His mind seemed to understood countless things while at the same time not comprehend them.

He was in a situation where he seem to undertand, but not understand, seemed clear but not too clear, such a confused state.

Inside his body, something seemed to change, like there were something about to awaken.

It felt like mysterious power that had slept inside him all this while was awakened.

Yue Yang guess that it was his inherent skill and guardian beast that he got from his request in previous world.

When the golden light reach the limit, it stopped expanding and all the golden light started soaring to the skies.
