Chapter 268 - Acceptance (Part-2) (2/2)

Mo Jiang's jaw ticked hearing her words. He continued staring at her intensely which sank Liu Juan's heart in her c.h.e.s.t.

No one could scare her except Markus and now, Mo Jiang.

”I am sorry.” Mo Jiang uttered words after a while which made Liu Juan look at him astonishingly.

”I was wrong. I was making the same mistake that my father did with my mother. I thought I would be different from him but…”

”You are way much different from him.” Liu Juan instantly cut him off.

Although she was angry at Mo Jiang, she never wanted Mo Jiang to depreciate himself to the level of Mo Jun.

”Please forgive me, Liu Juan. Let's start again. I promise I won't disappoint you again.” Mo Jiang pleaded and held her arms.

Liu Juan stared at him for a while and said, ”Okay.” She replied.

It was useless to fight, she had helped him in pursuing Mo Jinnan only with the hope that the silent fight happening between them should be ended and it did happen.

Instantly, a smile broke out on Mo Jiang's lips. ”Great. Let's sleep now.” Mo Jiang pulled her towards the bed.

However, Liu Juan didn't budge from her place and stopped him. ”Jiang…I think I should sleep in my room.”

Mo Jiang's brows frown and he asked, ”Why? Are you still angry at me?”

She shook her head. ”No, it…just that I am not ready.” She replied in a low voice.

”For what?” Mo Jiang asked puzzlingly. They were already married. What was the thing making her resistant to being close towards him?

”Do you think I would hurt you?” Mo Jiang asked in a calm tone.

She shook her head again. ”It…It is just…” She didn't know what to say.

”Look at me and say what it is.” Mo Jiang made her look at him.

Liu Juan bit her lips and hesitatingly said ”M----My body is ugly.”

Instantly, Mo Jiang's face turned grumpy.

”What did you just say?” Mo Jiang asked angrily.

”Let me go.” Liu Juan shoved him away. She wanted to run away from this humiliating situation.

However, Mo Jiang didn't let her go. ”Answer me first!”

”I told you that your past doesn't…”

”You can't deny my past.” Liu Juan snapped.

Her eyes turned red; this situation was far worse than when both of them were fighting.

Perhaps, she shouldn't have helped him.

”Yes, yes. you are right. I can't deny it!” Mo Jiang snarled and in the next moment, he let her go and opened the  door of the room abruptly.

”Get out!” Mo Jiang ordered her without any visible emotion on his face.
