When Liu Juan heard those three words, she forgot her pain and looked at Bo Xiao in shock.

Was it some new trick of his?

Well, she wouldn't fall into it as she would never trust him again in her life.

Liu Juan turned her face to the other side as she didn't have anything to say to him. She closed her eyes and waited for whatever life would present to her now until she heard him speak up again…

”I was five when my father sold me to a woman who used me for her s.e.x.u.a.l p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e until a day came where she had died in the hands of him.”

Him meant their boss.

”After that, he took me under his shadows where I came to realize that if you have the power, you can rule in this world and no one can hurt you. After years of training and completing missions, I earned the title of Master Bo Xiao. However, I wanted to be on the top so this mere title didn't please me and that's when you entered my villa.”

Liu Juan turned to look at him as it was the first time that she was hearing such a story. She knew that the people working there had a very horrible past, hence the reason they were there and the way they were.. However, no one had revealed anything to anyone yet as it was their most vulnerable moment. In fact, even Liu Juan didn't reveal the story of her past to anyone.

However, now that Bo Xiao was sharing his vulnerabilities and his horrible past with her, Liu Juan didn't know whether she should believe him or not.

She didn't utter a word as she continued to hear him speak.

Bo Xiao stared at the moon and clouds outside which were passing through it and continued.

”Your arrival brought insecurity in me. So I began to plan to kill you but before that you ran away. No one had ever managed to run away from the villa successfully and that was when you gave me a chance to kill you but I found your sister instead.”

”I kept her beside me only to catch you because my gut feeling was saying that you will come back to find your sister. So, I decided that once I found you, I would kill both of you at once to eliminate my insecurity but your return changed everything…”

Bo Xiao turned to look at Liu Juan with mixed emotions in his eyes. ”You saved my life, not once but twice.”

”I have reasons for saving you.” Liu Juan cleared her intentions as she didn't want to give any hope to him, even though he was revealing his weaknesses..

”I know…I know…and one of the reasons was that I had saved your sister.” Bo Xiao smiled in irony. Where one sister was hell-bent on killing her younger sister, the younger sister was determined to save her elder sister.

Bo Xiao continued with his story. ”Because you saved me, I started having feelings for you and I was angry when you rejected me before thinking about it. So I thought to use your sister to cage you back here, forever with me to torture you so that you would never reject me again but I was wrong...”

Liu Juan looked at him curiously. She was wondering what made him realize that he was wrong.

Was it Liu Ruolan's betrayal or their boss's over smart plan that led them here in this condition?

However, the answer was neither of them.
