Bo Xiao decided to tell the truth and reveal his intention because he knew that if he lied now, he would not be able to look at himself in his eye and he would become a coward in his own eyes.

”She seemed to be a threat to my position, that's why I decided to eliminate her from this world before you got to know anything.”

His boss felt enraged when he heard Bo Xiao's explanation. This indirectly implicated that, if in future Bo Xiao, felt his boss was a threat, then he would do the same thing with him as well.

Well, it was nothing new to see. Everyone wanted power, position, status. His boss had done the same thing to get the position in which he is today. Anyone would do the same thing, so there was nothing wrong with it, right?!

Soon, an evil smile came on the face of the man.

Bo Xiao felt uneasy when he saw the smile on his boss's face. He knew that this smile had some dangerous meaning behind it.

”Well, what will you do when I tell you that she begs me to save your life?”

The man knew that the thing which Bo Xiao detested the most was to beg anyone. Bo Xiao would kill himself rather than beg to anyone.

Moreover, now the girl whom he thought as a threat and to whom he had decided to kill before his boss could find out about her, had begged to save his life!
