60 Into the Amnesia (1/2)

Seb was lost of the time she has lost.

She was trapped in some kind of oblivion.

Her senses were fluctuating, and very little persisted. That was her last will which she denied to give up.

She has got no energy even to open her eyes.

She was aware that it has been a long time yet she has no memory of her whereabouts.

She only had a faint feel of being carried and thrown ruefully on some rough concrete.

It was cold and hard.

And that was the end of her consciousness!!!

.........

The next time she received her senses back, she felt herself in a very uncomfortable and painful position.

Her arms ached terribly.

More than that, her leg was stinging like acid.

She wasn't able to reach to any of them.

When she has got back more of her mind, she realized that her hands were hung and bound above her head with shackles!!!

Her toes barely touched the floor.

She felt cold air touching her leg where it stung real bad. The wound must have opened, and this time, the unbearable pain tells her that it has got infected due to delay of treatment!

Something also told her that it might have sprained.

Such unfair curse fell upon her!

She also felt and smelled dried blood through her shoulder, neck and below.

She remembered then!

The blow she received for the last time was indeed that strong.

It still gave her jolt and utter numbness through her back.

She couldn't move her mouth as a bruise was printed on her left cheek.

Just exactly how much she has endured, and how much she has to put effort to get hold of her pitious state?

She forced upon her eyes and tore opened them.

Her vision was still foggy and her mind dizzy.

Only based on her strong control over mind, she was sure of someone's presence in front of her.

She shook her head which triggered her wound behind her head more.

She still took her time to study the face in front her.

But before she could, he spoke himself and let him know of his identity.

”I wouldn't do that if I were you”. suggested a oddly familiar voice.

Is it.....Iven?

Is he here to save me?

He must've heard me!

Seb's thoughts were mixed and difficult to sort out herself.

Her heart was strongly protesting the sweet thought for a reason.

She tried to ignore it.

Why not?

It must be him.....he is here....

But then, her thoughts cleared up!

No!!!

It is not!

It is definitely not him!

That face, this voice,....is a complete fraud.

There's no way it could be Iven.

That stone-cold eyes can't be his....

Memories of Seb started recollecting themselves fast.....

She led out a weak grunt.

Her eyes went up to a frown....

Iason.....

”So you're finally awake”, the same irritation in his voice. Seb glared at him, her vision still fluctuating,”You're so miserable right now, but still that prideful temper.”

Seb looked piercingly at him unable to speak much. Fire shooting from her eyes.

Faint inaudible voice was emerging from her throat...

”You're arrogant.....”, Iason walked over her and lifted her chin with his thumb and index, scrutinizing her with his psychotic eyes which she loathed,”....just like him. You are totally worthy of

a person such as him!.....Stubborn!”.

Seb lead out a painful groan as she closed her eyes shut.
