9 Her wings were meant to fly (1/2)

Seb awoke in a rather comfortable position next time.

She was lying on a bed like a dead, unknown of the time passed, covered with a quilt.

As soon as her eyes opened, she got up with a jerk!!!

But before studying her situation, she clasped her head and fell back on the bed. Her vision and mind still weren't clear.

”Ah!!!....”, she exclaimed irritated,”It feels like I'm suffering a hangover after 50 shots! My head is so heavy”. Realizing something, she re-quoted her lines again,”I can't believe I'm carrying on with the drinking metaphors at a time like this.....I must be crazy!”, she scolded herself and sank into the bed, cuddling within it.

”Absolutely...You're a total psycho”, said a voice. It was familiar. Seb knew him.

Lucifer was in the room all this time. Seb was so stuffed in the mind, that she didn't notice at all. He was watching her from before she awoke and kept himself intact when she was uttering nonsense too.

Seb was extremely startled when she heard his voice. She wasn't aware of someone else's presence in the room.....especially him!!!

She tried to get hold of herself and get up.

”Don't move so quickly!”, came the ordering tone from Lucifer,”The medicine on your head is a drug...you won't get a clue of your actions”.

But Seb was up already, with her hand on her head.

She spotted Lucifer sitting straight opposite to her on a easy chair, in a blue shirt and joggers, concentrating on a book down he's holding open. The room was no doubt a ship room with one glance.

”Are we...in the ocean?...Am I being shipped off?”...Seb managed to ask. Her words were twirling with each other.

She felt that the ship wasn't moving, it was still! It must be anchored.

But Lucifer ignored those questions and continued to do what he was doing.

Slowly Seb's brain started clearing out. She could see and think on her right mind. But the heaviness still persisted. Eventually her quick egoistic temper returned and it triggered at Lucifer's ignorance. She didn't take it well.

”Hey!!....”, she called,” I'm talking to you...Lucifer”, and the name sprang out of her mouth automatically.

That successfully dragged his attention. He looked at her straight with a deep expression,” What did you just call me?”, he asked with a manner that is totally impossible to ignore.

Seb got her victory and replied frankly,”You know the book? Lucifer?? ...That character reminds me of you”.

-And why Lucifer...of all names?

-It suits you perfectly!

-What!!!

-You know...Lucifer...ruler of hell...drop dead cold attitude. Suits you.

Lucifer's eyes narrowed as he looked down on the book. Clearly he was not amused.

Seb sighed as she touched the back of her head to check it. It wasn't bandaged but some kind of ointment was applied on it. The blood flow was stopped. Strangely, her sleeve which was blood drenched, was wiped clean too.

No, Wait!!!.... The stain wasn't gone...the sleeve was gone!!!

”Where'd my sleeve go?”, Seb's voice raised a bit. Lucifer looked up and closed his book finally. Now Seb had his complete attention. He folded his hands and watched her.

”You've torn my sleeve!!”, Seb complained, ”You Lucifer! That was one of my favorites”.

Lucifer tsked at being called that,” Why do I care?”, and shot a cold reply,” It was drenched”

-What else have you done?

-What do you mean?
