13 Chapter 13 Iron Fis (2/2)
I bow to show my sincerity to him.
Ironfist was clearly surprised at this, but then smiled and bowed back.
Ironfist: ”Not at all, you are very strong mr?”
Nightwing: ”You can call me Nightwing.”
Ironfist: ”Nightwing then, you are very proficient in the martial arts.”
Nightwing: ”Thank you, here is my number. Please don't hesitate to call if you ever need help.”
Ironfist: ”You have my gratitude Nightwing.”
He bowed once more as I walk to my NightCycle and drive off.
As I was driving Morgana notifies me of a mugging going on so I speed off in that direction. When I get there I see that the muggers were already on the floor and Spider-Man was finishing off the last one.
When he finished, he turned around and saw me.
Spider-Man: ”Oh my god your Nightwing! Dude I'm your biggest fan, thanks for protecting Queens!”
He begins to shake my hand very fast. While he was shaking my hand, I was deciding whether or not to tell him that I was Nightwing and that we were filthy rich. The more I thought about it, the more I convinced myself. Honestly I did not like to keep secrets from him, and he has gotten all of the necessary things to become Spider-Man.
Nightwing: ”Get on, I have to show you something.”
You can almost see the sparkles that were in his eyes through the mask. He gets on and we drive to my NightCave. When we were in there, Peter looked like he was in cloud 9.
Currently Spider-Man was sitting on a chair and I was standing looking at him.
Spider-Man: ”This is the coolest thing that I have EVER SEEN!!!”
Nightwing: ”haha, I'm glad you like it.”
Spider-Man: ”But why are you showing me, is this not a big secret?”
Nightwing: ”Yeah it is, but I know that you will not tell anyone Peter.”
Spider-Man: ”How do you know that I will not tell anyon-WAIT DID YOU JUST CALL ME PETER?!!!”
Spider-Man checks his face to make sure that he still has his mask on, and after confirming that he did only made him more confused.
Nightwing: ”Haha, your not really good with this whole secret identity thing are you? You need to get better at that Petey.”
Spider-Man: ”There is only one person who calls me Petey...Varen is that you?!”
I smile and retract my hood and take off my eye mask showing him my face.
When Peter sees me he takes off his mask too and looks at me stunned. It takes him a while to wrap his head around the situation.
I calmly explain how I became Nightwing and that our family own Orion. Peter was shock once again learning that they were really rich, but that was it. He did not show any signs of his personality changing due to this news, which relieved Varen.
Peter: ”Wait so did you know that I was Spider-Man this whole time?”
Varen: ”Yeah, I saw you get bit by the spider, so I took it to make sure it was safe. Then it bit me too.”
Peter: ”I see, so Aunt May and Uncle Ben knew too?”
Varen: ”I told them.”
Peter: ”I see....”
Noticing that Peter was feeling a little down I realize something and smile.
Varen: ”I got a present for you Pete.”
Hearing that he has a present made him a little happy.
I lead him to where his suit was, and when he saw it he jumped with joy.
Peter: ”Is this really for me?! It looks so cool, thank you Varen!!”
I smile at Peters happy face.
