75 The Chi Manipulator! (1/2)

Shuichi has entered the arena to fight Ilora.

”Ilora! Get out of there!” I command Ilora. Ilora gives me a cold stare. ”I don't approve of that.” Ilora says to me.

Tsch! You have to be kidding me with this bullshit.

Ilora uses the same posture she used when she fought Flora. Shuichi looks unsurprised.

”Dakai Zong, it's an ancient martial arts style where the user uses only his palm to fight. It's quite a surprise that you knew such an old style of fighting.It's a rare watch if you ask me.” Shuichi says as looked up at Ilora.

Ilora sighs.

”So what if you knew what style I was using? It really doesn't matter because the winner is determined by who is the most skilled.” Ilora says as she readies herself.

Ilora is right about the skill part but she doesn't have any idea about how strong this guy is...Tsch!

When it comes to martial arts chi is a very important part of it and there are three ways to use it. First one is what I know and is a basic between all martial artists, it's known as chi control. Chi control is simply controlling the chi within one's body.

The second one is what I believe Shuichi knows and that is chi manipulation. Chi isn't only inside human body but it flies around in the air. Basically everything around you is chi but...To manipulate the chi one must completely master their body and by mastering their body I mean they have to know their weaknesses, strengths and every nook and canny of their body. Once you know that, you can manipulate your surrounding using chi, that is chi manipulation and it's a hundreds and thousands of times stronger than normal chi control as one has already figured out everything about themselves.

And then finally, there is chi domination, it's where one can increase their chi to a point where they sacrifice their body in exchange of unimaginable strength, speed, sense of mind and endurance. No one has ever seen chi domination but it is said to the strongest technique in all world.

”Are you worried about Ilora?” Grace asks me. ”Of course I am, this match is completely not suited for her.” I answer. Grace gives a sadistic smile. ”I see...”

”This match is an important one, isn't it?” Sean asks Bruno. ”To be exact, it's a very important one.” Jian answers. ”That's a rookie freelancer right?” Jian questions Denvil. Denvil smiles, ”That is correct Shuichi, Rita, Sherry and Hayden are all rookie freelancers. We might have not been a rookie squad but they definitely showed their powers last year.” Denvil says keeping his smile.

”What's a rookie freelancer?” Cyan asks. ”A rookie freelancer is one who teams up with any squad. They are simply given orders to assist certain squads and hence why they team up with whatever squad possible but of course their main squad is their main priority.” Caster says to Cyan. ”Rookie freelancers are handpicked by the council. They say that these rookies have the most potential out of everyone in the squad.” Jian says. ”I see...” Cyan looks back at the arena.

Ilora rushes Shuichi, she uses her palm to attack Shuichi's chin as he is taller than her.

*Swoop*

Shuichi easily dodges it.

*TAP*

Ilora heavily brings her right foot on the ground forming a huge ice in front of her.

”Why are you wasting your mana?” Shuichi appears at Ilora's right side and kicks her.

*Smack*

Ilora is sent flying almost outside the arena.
