6 Trapped! (1/2)
The tension in the air is sure high. Guru stands right in front of me with his fists clench. Seems like he is warming up. I ready myself by raising both my fists and keeping a close distance between my legs just like mom thought me to fight him. ”You ready?” Guru asks me like his already ready. His not even taking a fighting stance or most probably he doesn't have one and relies on his brute strength. Whatever the case, his a complete powerhouse of the criminals. Taking him out most probably means taking half of their manpower out. What matters here is my speed, I am for sure faster then him without magic. If not, this is going to be much tougher then I would have ever anticipated.
I blink and Guru rushes towards me. I ready myself. His fast. Tsch! For a huge man, he sure is fast. Well, one of my fears came through. Guru readies his right fist to punch me. I strafe to my right and dodge the punch.
*Swoop*
Just then I see another punch coming towards me from the right. I use my left hand and catch Guru's left wrist. Damn, his hand his really packing a lot of strength. Then again, what would you expect from such a huge man. He doesn't waste any time to use his right hand to punch me. I catch his right wrist with my right hand. ”Well, well, you are strong for someone of your size.” Guru says to me. ”Hey, I am 5'8 alright. That is not small at all.” I say to Guru. ”That is what I mean. You have got a well built physical body to stop my punches just like that but...” Guru kicks me in my guts with his right leg.
*Kick*
I hold my gut and get push back by Guru. Damn, his kick hurts like hell. ”...You give away a lot of open spots when your fighting.” Guru says to me. ”You have a good stance which doesn't give any open spots but...You lose that stance while dodging or attacking. Which is bad.” Wait...Is Guru giving me advice?
I recover and take my stance again. ”Hey, isn't giving your opponent advice kind of bad?” I ask Guru. ”It is but I enjoy beating an opponent who is worthy of the beat-down.” Guru replies. ”Fair enough.” I say. ”Get ready! Here comes my second wave.” My stance doesn't give many open spots...Something my mom said a long time ago. I have to figure out what that means...I have at least 5 seconds to figure out until Guru's fist reaches my face. I definitely don't want to feel his punches if his kick felt that hard.
Here he comes...What do I do? What do I do? ”Your stance leaves no opening whatsoever.” That's what mom said when she used to teach me martial arts and that's what Guru said now too. Guru also mentioned about me losing the stance. So what if...I wait for his fist to get near my face and then...
*SWOOP*
Strafe and dodge the punch but instead of going into any direction go forward and punch him.
*SMACK*
Guru gets knocked back by some distance from me. ”Well...You learn fast I see.” Guru says to me. ”You were the one who tipped me about never changing my stance.” I say to Guru. ”I didn't expect you to figure it out this quickly though. You are quite good!” Guru says with a smile. I smile back at him. Guru runs towards me and I run towards Guru. Both of us go for a punch and both our fists connect.
*SMASH*
We both begin pummelling our fists into each others. Guru tries to kick me but I block him. Damn, his fast. I go for a face on his punch, straight after I blocked his kick with my leg.
*CRACK*
I land a punch on his face and he lands a punch on mine.
*SPOOSH*
Guru grabs my hairs and smacks my face into his knee.
*SMACK*
