After the Final, which went the same as in the original story, Tien offered to treat the group to a hearty meal as goodwill, but the group looked at him in pity. Unlike the Turtle School, Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu regularly went out to do missions and had quite an abundance of money.

”What?” Tien Shinhan asked questioningly.

”Hehe, you better not. You wouldn't believe how much some people here can eat,” Krillin said humorously.

Goku wanted to get his stuff before going to eat, Krillin offered to go get them, considering Goku was still exhausted from the recent battle with Tien Shinhan.

Krillin shouted from inside the building, the group hurried over to find Krillin dead. The announcer lying on the floor nearby told the group that a monster killed Krillin and stole both the dragon ball and the tournament register.

Goku was enraged seeing his friend killed. He hurriedly jumped on his cloud and grasped the dragon radar in his hand. He flew away before anyone could stop him.

The group found a piece of paper with the demon symbol on it.

”I can't believe it! It's the emblem of the demon Piccolo!” Master Roshi said in shock.
