30 22nd WMA Part 1 (2/2)
The quarrel quickly devolved into a contest between Master Roshi and Master Shen, they stood face to face and continuously threw insults and spit at each other's faces while everyone else backed away to avoid the plethora of saliva.
”Hmph, let's go. I won't talk with these idiots any longer! But I'll be looking forward to the matches.” Master Shen left arrogantly with his two disciples in tow.

Goku managed to arrive in time, just one minute to the deadline. He wore a tiger pelt wrapped around his body as a substitute for clothes.
Goku was late because had run and swum all the way from Yahhoy, which was on the other side of Earth. Because Master Roshi told him to train by travelling the world without his Flying Nimbus, he foolishly did so all the way until the WMA tournament.
Goku managed to register just as the deadline arrived, they heard the shout for the participants to gather. The preliminaries were going to begin now.
Tarro, Krillin, Yamcha, and Goku entered the preliminaries ground. Bulma and Oolong stood on Tarro's Flying Nimbus and looked through the window of the building the preliminaries were held. Puar floated on his own while Master Roshi stood on top of Turtle's head and clung onto the walls.
The eight that got through to the finals were exactly the same as in the original apart from Krillin who had been unlucky enough to face Tarro in the preliminaries.
”Hahaha! So that's all a student from Turtle School is worth? To not even pass the preliminaries, you've lost all face for your school!” Tien jeered.
Chiaotzu used his telekinesis to rig the lots drawing according to Tien Shinhan. Tien wanted to teach Yamcha a lesson for his rudeness earlier. He had Man-Wolf paired with Jackie Chun because he saw him staring angrily at Jackie. Because he looked down on Goku as another failure martial artist from the Turtle School, he let Panput fight him. The only fighters he thought would be a challenge were Jackie Chun and Tarro but he let Chiaotzu face Tarro because he thought that he would be beaten by Chiaotzu's Telekinesis. But Tarro was too lazy to care since after getting even stronger in Other World the WMA would be lacklustre.
'I might as well skip next WMA,' Tarro thought.
First match: Tien Shinhan vs Yamcha
Second match: Man-Wolf vs Jackie Chun
Third match: Chiaotzu vs Tarro
Fourth match Goku Vs Panput
Tarro and Goku, as usual, went to the dining hall and started eating a hearty meal before the competition.

The first match was the same as in the original with Tien beating Yamcha and breaking his leg. The second match was the same with Jackie Chun easily beating Man-Wolf and then used Krillin's shiny bald head as the moon and hypnotized Man-Wolf to believe Krillin's head was the moon.
Man-Wolf, deep in the hypnosis, turned into a human. He had been hostile toward Jackie Chun because he thought that he destroyed the moon and made him stay as a wolfman. Now he happily left the stage.
