41 The two mission in the jade slip (1/2)
Gerel is looking at the androgynous youth who has a beautiful appearance with a petite shape but have a tall body of a grown woman. He's cupped his hand and salute at Azanah and Fatty Pao who's picking himself up.
”Miss Azanah, No need for ceremony. I'm very grateful for both of you and your master help. This might be rude for both of you that help me but…” The atmosphere within the hut tense up a bit before Gerel ask in a serious tone.
”For what purpose did you and your master save me?”
Both Fatty Pao and Azanah looking at each other before making a complicated expression, They didn't know whether it's appropriate or not to tell this man a reason, But fatty walk up and looking at this man in earnest.
”No, It's not a direct order from my master to help you instead his exact command is somewhat not good for Duke Tian Dong and the northern coalition that is still siding with him.”
”What!? You! ” Gerel quickly stands up and prepare a fighting stance, but the tick branch pierces through the floor and wraps itself around Gerel until he can't move even an inch.
”Well... Could you please listen to me until I finish? your excellency?” Fatty scratch his head in awkwardness then continues.
”It's true that we need to do our mission by sabotage the northern coalition. But the reason why we save you is not to use you as a tool. In fact, you are an In-Law of our master! That's the real reason why we save you.”
”What do you mean?” Gerel immediately asks with a face full of confusion.
