Dawn of Giants Haron 20320K 2022-07-22

The first spar with two Martial artists, one with water elemental essence another one with wind elemental essence. The fight lasted a few minutes as the two exchanged blows. Water bullets and wind blades were flying around the place, but the power behind them was not high.

Both fighters looked about a year older than me, which would make them second years. And comparatively, they would be slightly stronger then the second year I fought last time.

After the end of the fight, another one started, then another, an hour later and a few exciting fights it was my turn. My name was called out. At this point I changed the suit I came into sportswear pants and a t-shirt provided to me by the Flores family. On the back of the T-shirt was the crest of the family, a skull with roses in the eye sockets.

”Crush him.” Before I entered the ring, I was told so by Emily's father. I didn't respond. My thoughts were now focused on the opponent that I had to face. He was the same age as me, but he wasn't the part of the university, he awakened in his family, and it was there that he trained. I couldn't tell how strong he would be, but I could see the arrogance in his eyes.

”Give up now. Someone like you has no chance.” The moment I entered the ring these words left my opponents mouth.

”Someone like me?”

”Without a bloodline. You were not born in the Flores family, and wearing their crest doesn't change that fact.” He said.

”… Your bunch is really the worst. And you are also stupid it seems.”

”Say that again…” Fire rose from his body as his anger grew.

”I felt like vomiting watching this place, your elitist attitude really is stupid… I thought that I will only come here and quickly defeat you, but now I really want to crush you.” I wasn't planning on doing this, but his attitude… as if I was nothing more then an ant. As if I was lesser then that idiot.

”You will die today!” he shouted as fire started spewing in my direction, his mouth moving without a break as he cast spell after spell creating a sea of fire in the ring. When I manifested my soul image, the sea of fire swallowed me whole!

But I felt nothing. Not even a bit of fire could penetrate my soul image. I walked out of the massive ball of fire that swallowed me. Now I could grasp his strength more or less. He was definitely stronger than a second year, but I feel like he was a little weaker then Lydia who is a fourth year.

With a grin, I walked towards him.
