Chapter 3 (1/2)
Yang Gong sat in the front of Jang, who was eating the noodles, and spoke good-naturedly.
Although he had been ripped off the money and jade ring he didn’t seem to run away, instead he spoke to Jang with a serious expression on his face.
“Brother Jang, now is not the time to be eating noodles leisurely.”
Jang ate noodles without answering Yang Gong.
The appearance of filling his cheeks with a lot of noodles was appetizing even for Yang Gong, who wasn’t even hungry.
Yang Gong just gulped his saliva and continued.
” I’m telling you this in the best interest of you. Even though many thing happened between us, I still think of you as a brother since we ate and fiddled cards once
together.”
Jang did not answer any of the words of Yang Gong.
Rather, he lifted the bowl and drank the broth in the noodles.
Then placed down the bowl and swallowed all the noodles and broth that was in his mouth.
Then he reached out to the tea that was placed next to the bowl of noodles.
He took a sip of the tea and looked slyly at Yang Gong in his eyes and opened his mouth.
“Why..?”
“Do you remember the guy who run away earlier.”
“Jin seok…..?”
Yang Gong opened his eyes wide.
“You pretended not to be interested in other’s business, but you do remember everything…….. Well the thing is that guy is a little dangerous.”
“A guy who got scammed by the likes of you…..is dangerous.”
At Jang’s words Yang Gong coughed a little.
“You know that’s offensive… Right.?”
“If you don’t like being called scammer, then shall I call you as thief.”
“Hey. Don’t you remember what I just said? I paid all the country bound bounty.”
“Does the crime disappear if you give out the money.?”
Yang Gong dropped his head down and shrugged.
“Aren’t some of the bounties going out as compensation for those people I scammed.? then doesn’t that mean never robbed them.”
“Ahhh….what am I talking….It’s not time for that….Brother Jang Do you know who is Hong Gildong?”
“Who is Hong Gildong?”
Jang answered without showing any interest, while picking up the teacup again and bringing it to his mouth.
“The leader of the Bowbilli clan.”
“…Bowbilli?”
“Don’t you know?”
Yang Gong laughed sheepishly.
“ You don’t know because you don’t have enough learning about the moorim country we live in.”
Jang looked at Yang Gong without saying a word and after a moment of pause opened his mouth.
“Come to the point. What does that have to do with that prick being dangerous?”
Yang Gong picked up a teacup from the corner of the table and filled it with tea.
“Jin seok is an ignorant man. He didn’t learn martial arts, and he doesn’t have a lot of wealth, but still he has one thing?”
Yang Gong took a sip of the tea he poured.
“Its his brother – a real powerhouse in Martial arts.”
Hearing Yang Gong’s words, Jang grinned and raised his chopsticks
“Well…..I also do some martial arts.”
“Oh, I know that. Is there anyone who doesn’t know about the fist of our Brother Jang.? Since I personally saw I knew that Brother Jang’s drawing of a sword is a piece of art itself.”
At Yang Gang’s words, Jang put down the hand holding the chopsticks again.
“Then what’s the matter, kid? I told you to come to the
point.”
“Of course the prick’s brother is a problem, but the most problematic was the clan he belongs.”
Jang slammed the teacup on the table and the leftover tea in the teacup jumped out of the cup and fell on the table.
“Why are you making a fuss about a clan in the countryside. Don’t they have a Moorim Security Force branch here?”
Yang Gong answered the question with a smile on his face.
“Are you curious now Brother.?”
Jang laughed.
He laughed in such a way that the laugh echoed throughout the restaurant.
He then showed a clenched left fist.
Yang Gong looked at his fist and his expression turned slightly pale.
“Okay….okay…. I’ll tell you, lower your fists… Of course, they might be a small clan on the countryside. But the strangest thing is there is a link between the leader of the Bowbilli clan and the head of Moorim Security Force branch head.”
“ So as long as nothing big happens, Moorim Security Force won’t lay hand on the Bowbilli clan.”
“ And Jin Cheong, the brother of the prick whose nose you broke just a little while ago, holds an important position in the Bowbilli clan.”
“And you stole from the brother of such a big-shot.?”
Yang Gong laughed awkwardly.
Jang slowly looked back at the table where Yang Gong had been sitting and understood the situation.
The people who had gambled with Yang Gong before were now staring at him and Yang Gang as if to kill them.
It must have been because of the cheating and provoking Jin seok.
There were some residents who sneakily left the tavern, perhaps frightened.
As Jang drank the remaining tea in the teacup, the owner of the tavern approached him.
“customer.”
Jang looked up at the owner of the tavern.
Upon closer inspection, the owner’s face was not only stiff, but also trembling
“I will refund the price of noodles, so please get out of my tavern.”
Yang Gong looked at him and said with a smile as if there was nothing he could do about it.
“Come on, let’s get out of this place before Bowbilli clans henchmen comes. If they come it will be difficult even for Brother Jang to stay safe.”
However, while listening to the two of them, Jang poured out tea to the empty teacup and after filling it, slowly took it to his mouth and started drinking.
He drank all the tea in a single gulp and smacked the teacup on the table.
Then he opened his mouth
“I think it will be fine.”
“What are you saying Jang….even if it’s you, you can’t handle 20 henchmen of the strong Bowbilli clan. Let’s get ou……”
“If you had wanted to run away. you should have done it early. But now It’s already too late.”
As soon as Yang Gong heard the voice that cut off his words he got stiffened.
The owner of the tavern and Yang Gong turned to the owner of the low, thick voice that was heard from behind.
“It’s too late to run now.”
As soon as they saw the silhouette of the person standing in the front of tavern, they felt a chill passing down the spine.
At the same time, the main character of that voice entered the room.
