22 Karaoke and the Damsel (1/2)

Early in the morning, William went to the academy with his sister. He bid farewell to his sister after they arrived at the academy ground, and he went to his room.

He entered the classroom and sat beside Alice.

James turned around and said, ”This time we will go to the karaoke and we will have fun”

”I..” Before William could finish he was interrupted by James.

”William don't try to refuse, it's just that everyday after the class we would hunt a monster in the west forest and train our skill, sometimes we need to relax” James said to William before he looked at Alice and said, ”What do you think?”

Alice pondered for a while before she nodded her head.

William looked at the two helplessly and said, ”Let me call my sister”

James looked at Alice who nodded her at him.

William took out his smartphone from his pocket and dialed his sister's contact.

Ring!! Ring!!

”Sister want to go to karaoke with James and Alice” William said through the phone.

After the class Claire and James forcefully dragged William while Alice followed behind the two.

Claire also bring some of her friends. Stephany a nerd looking petite girl, she was wearing a round glass, and her hair was braided into two.

And the other one was a sexy looking woman, her skin was white as snow, her brown hair was shoulder length, she have a long eyelashes and beautiful hook nose. She's called Sandra.

The two looked at William up and down while William only greeted them before he got dragged by his sister.

William unwillingly followed James and his sister. He haven't gotten to a karaoke in his two lives, this was new to him, well, he was okay to try something new, plus his sister was here.

The three went inside the karaoke lounge. James ordered some foods and drinks.

James was the first one to sing and started tearing his vocal cords apart in the stage. The atmosphere got lively by his intense singing.

Back in the past, William would listen to some pop music, there was once a time, before he raided the demon's army he stealthy went to a concert of some good singer to calm himself.

”Why don't you give it a try?” Alice asked him.

”I'll pass”

Sandra was the next one to sing after James. Her voice was very pleasant to ears, she was a good singer.

Alice then got up and took the microphone as she walked elegantly to the center. Obviously, this was not her first time here.

William was familiar with some of the song and he could even hum along.

Alice was doing great in the stage, it was like she became another person, her beautiful voice made William in dazed when she looked at him while singing. Alice was happily singing in the stage, her youthful vibe was all over in the stage, totally different from how she usually looked.

William was surprised to see this side of her, he was mesmerized by her charming performance. His heart started to beat wildly.

James, Claire, and the other's clap at her performance.

Alice blushed when she saw William looked at her in dazed.

William couldn't believed that this was the same Alice that challenging him to a duel everyday. He slowly put his hands to his chest.

James saw William's expression he smirked.

William, Alice and James separated from Claire and his friends. The three going around the town looking at everyshop.

Claire and his friends left them cause they still have to do something in their department.

Soon, it was late at night when William bid farewell to Alice and James.

”Those two really enjoy the tour” William sighed. Alice and James enjoy the tour in the town with William. In the past William never enjoy touring around the town but this time he felt happy that he have a comrade accompanying him. This type of emotion was foreign to him.

Alice voice kept ringing in his hear. He felt some emotion was developing inside him but he didn't know what's this feeling.

Late at night William was walking back to his home when he heard.

”Kyaa!!”

He looked around and saw nothing. Then, he heard a voice.

”Stop!”

He used his mana to sense his surrounding, only to found that the voice came from the back alley. He sense seven people there. He was curious to what they are doing as he slowly went to them.

When he arrived he saw six men trying to ganged a young girl. The girl was shivering in fear in front of these guys. The men laughed maniacally when they saw the scared girl.

*ding*

[Rescue the girl from the hands of those guys. Reward 200 points]

William saw the quest and sighed before he observed the situation.

”We will walked you to your home, chick” The man in front said.
