17 Beast tide (1/2)

Alice and James were both shocked, naturally both of them new what a beast tide.

”William, are you sure?” James asked William as he still couldn't believed that a large group of monster was approaching the limit.

”I've been training here for a long time, I will naturally know everything that happens here in the forest” William replied.

James didn't asked anymore and just nodded his head.

William looked at Alice and James, he said sternly, ”Notify the city guards that we saw a huge number of monster approaching the city”

”What about you? William” Alice looked at William and asked.

”Based on what you said just now, you're planning on staying here, right?” James added. The three of them was training here for a few weeks. They know that William like to kill monsters, it's not like William like it. It's like he have no choice but to kill monsters that's the expression they saw in William.

”Yeah! I will go and take a look at the beast tide” William admitted that he was planning on staying here.

James looked at him deeply before he said, ”Okay, I know you're strong but still be careful” after he said that he turned around.

William turned his head to Alice. Alice saw that he turned his attention to her, she averted her eye's and she said in a tiny voice, ”Be careful”

William looked at her disappearing figure strangely. This day's her attitude toward him change.

William went deep inside the forest.

'Based on the information the system have the strongest monster are level 70 to 79. At my current power I could only fight a level 50 monster' William thought and sighed. He wanted to kill some level 70 and above monster to gain a free stat point reward, but sadly if he met a level 70 monster the only thing he could do was to run.

In the past he heard a beast tide attack the western part of the city. He was too weak at that time, naturally he didn't participated in fighting the monster so he didn't know how strong the monster. The system gave him a list of reward base on the monster he killed and the highest is level 79.

William scanned the surroundings with his mana sense, with the amount of mana he have and with his current level he could scan 200 meters around him. Soon, he detected a monster and it seems he found a pack of level 20 to 25 monster.

He vanished from his position and rushed at the direction of the pack. The monster he observe was a pack of wolves. He observe them for a while before he unsheathed his sword and rushed at the pack.

Spurt!!

The alpha wolf head was rolling on the ground, blood spurting like a fountain.

”My exp!!” William said as he looked at the wolves who was looking at him in fear, he just kill their leader the alpha wolf in a single stroke of sword.

William grin at the remaining wolves evilly. He run towards them.

William was in the middle of the bodies of the dead wolves. He just finished slaying the wolves and his expression immediately change.

'Shit!!' He turned around and leap into the tree branch. He swiftly left the area.

He imbued a large amount of his mana into his feet and his speed increased once more.

He detected the appearance of a level 60 monster after he slayed those wolves when he used his mana sense.

William swiftly leap from a tree to another tree. After a few minutes he left he detected that the level 60 monster was not chasing him.

He could not afford to fight a level 60 monster and exhausted himself when there many lower level monster that could gave him a lot exp and points.

William looked at his exp and found that it was at eighty percent.
