17 Trus (2/2)

”Do you believe in Zed? Do you trust him?” Healer Maiden asked as moves closer to Sira. She has a serious look on her face for the first time.

”Kind of. Zed did save our lives many times and he found your friend. He also ended the misery of the slave elves and humans who turned to feral ghouls. But that doesn't mean we should trust a tentacle monster. No one should trust a beast. They kill and devour anything in their path, they have no feelings or sympathy for the weak nor do they have sympathy for humans.

”That's not true. Zed is different than other beasts. He is from-” Healer Maiden quickly closed her mouth. She was about to tell Zed's secret to Sira.

”What were ya going to say?” Sira's eyebrows furrowed as she began sharping her gunblade combat knives.

”I was going to say that Zed is a beast in which we could fight together with.Maybe when we reach the surface of this cave we can let Zed live out in the open world of Zareth. He told me he wants to be free.” Healer Maiden said while grabbing her heart. She knew the feeling of being trapped inside your own prision.

”No! That's a stupid idea! Do you know what beasts are capable of!? In myths, Tentacle Monsters go around pillaging the lands of human cultivators and take the women from men and do unspeakable things to human females. They are creatures who only care about themselves and their lust to devour everything!” Sira barked out as she sharpens her knives faster.

”But Zed is nothing like that!” Healer Maiden pleaded with a saddened face. Her violet eyes trembled-”I have seen humans do worse things then Zed has.” She speaks again.

”Ugh that may be true, but still. You can't trust anyone so easily. For now, let's just play it safe. And even if Zed makes it to the surface, then Renzen, Seron, Winter, and Crowley will slaughter him in a flash or capture him. Even the cultivator in our squad will try to take Zed down.” Sira implied as she put away her weapons next to her slim waist.

”We should at least protect him and tell our squad that Zed is on our side.” Healer Maiden suggested with worry in her one violet eye.

”Fine whatever. We will see what happens. Just get some rest-” Sira snarls and then hears a faint voice.

”Ah, my head hurts. What happen?” Mutters Parisa as she wakes up.

”You're awake!” Healer Maiden hugs her.

”Garrrrgh! I smell human! This way!” Roars a loud orcish voice.

”I think we should get going.” Says Sira as she quickly stands up.

”Hurry, let's catch up with Zed.” Replies Healer Maiden as she picks up Parisa.
