As soon as the slash blasted them Dexter used it's momentum to turn in mid-air and move the girls on his stomach while he slid a few meters on his back.

Confused the girls looked at the person who saved them and was stunned to see Dexter lying beneath them.

Seeing their stunned face he smiled and asked,” You girls, alright?!”

”Onii chan.” both the girls hugged him and cried.

”Thank you for saving us, Dexter!” Shuri said while on the verge of tears.

”Who the fvck are you?! How did you enter this place? I had already placed a barrier around this place….” The Fallen angel continued his question, but Dexter just placed them on the floor and stood up.

He looked at the fallen angel while narrowing his eyes and releasing his killing intent, ”Shut up, you worm!”

His killing intent was so concentrated that the fallen angel felt that he was in front of a dragon who had taken countless lives. He also combined his killing intent with the illusion that he just learned, although it wasn't strong but should still be able to hold the fallen angels for a few minutes.

”Look, I said Onii Chan would come and save us.” Tsubaki said while crying and hugging Dexter's leg.

”Yeah, you said Tsubaki Chan, Onii Chan thank you for saving mom.” Little Akeno said while crying and hugging Dexter's other leg.

”Thank you for everything Dexter.” Shuri said while on the verge of tears.

Seeing them in this state Dexter gave a sigh and picked up the little girls and gave them a hug and they started to cry louder. Then he looked at Shuri who was standing beside him with watery eyes and he took her in his embrace too. This broke the dam that she was trying to hold black and she too started to cry although not loudly but still he could still feel her shaking from fear.

Everyone needs support after a tragedy and this was a big one for them with their lives on line. So Dexter just hugged them tighter as he didn't know how to pacify them.

After a minute they all stopped crying and started to remove themselves from his hug. But the little girls saw blood on their hands and become puzzled as they didn't feel hurt and they were young to understand its meaning.

Seeing that they have calmed down he put them down and looked at the fallen angel who was still in the illusion.

Shuri didn't have blood in her hand as Dexter was hugging her and there was no place for her to hug back.

But when Dexter put the girls down Shuri looked at the girls and was startled to see the blood on their hands she hurriedly wiped it with her cloth to see if they were hurt but the blood cleaned without any injuries. Seeing this she hurriedly looked at Dexter and he looked at her and gave a smile,” Don't worry, it's not that bad.”

Shuri looked at him in concern and unknowingly a flower had blossomed in her heart.

Finally, the fallen angel broke out of illusion and looked at him with hatred,” How dare you, a lowly human, put me in an illusion?!”

Seeing that he had broken out of the illusion, Dexter moved forward leaving the girls behind and they were able to see his back, it was filled with a large slash which was still dripping blood and his whole back was burned black because of the impact.

Seeing his back the little girls and Shuri were Horrified and the girls started to cry again.
