Both Rei and Tae just listening their family quarrels because both of them are outsiders so just they keep quiet. The two doesn't want to interfere or eavesdropping but there's no others choice since the family are quarrelling in front of them or maybe they forgot there existence at all. Even the family are quarrelling, they just exchange words and words but not shouting since they're in public place even though they own the hospital and indeed they're all professionals.
Rei and Tae just listening without letting them know that they're still there until Rei suddenly realized when she remembered Na story to her last time and connected it today.
