58 Vol 1 : Ch 58 - Preparation for Farewell Party (1/2)
After leaving the hospital room, they go back to their restaurant.
While on their way, Rei called Manager Xia and explained what happened to Ms Meng except for the internal matters that can't be shared easily. Rei didn't worry about the information of getting leak because the company have a strict implementation rules and keep out away from their personal privacy, so no one will know about it except the manager and head seniors since they're the one authorize to know the true reason that they will be absent for long as long as it's a valid reason and no one can hack their information because C is the one designing the security, Well Rei still a student that time, so R name is not yet exist during that time.
En and the siblings arrives in the restaurant not that late then helping the staff while Rei explaining to her mom everything. On the next day both El and Rei report to their own job while En, Mei and Lyn to their family business leaving Aya alone in the house since the kids are with Rei.
3 days passed, Rei always visit Meng in the afternoon with the kids. Well Rei wants to drop the kids first to their mothers before going to visit Meng but then everyday the kids will always reply to her
”Aunt Rei you have only a days left before you leave and we don't want to waste our time Aunt Rei”, so leaving with no choice she brought the kids along with her to the hospital.
In the hospital, only Mrs Meng inside the room with one bodyguard and the other three are assigned outside in order to guard the door because the other Meng's (her dear husband) are busy fighting with the youngest Meng (her brother in law). So by the time Rei arrives, she got stop by the bodyguards and she just let it be because she knows very well why they're here, then she told her name to the bodyguard and inform Mrs Meng her visit.
After hearing it from one of the bodyguard, she tell them to let her in, she's not a stranger or a bad person. Rei with the kids get inside while Mrs Meng so shocked when she notice the kids together with her but Rei immediately inform her that the kids are her nieces and nephews.
Rei just visit and asking her progress but still received the same answer that she will be regain consciousness within this week. After an hour, Rei left and going back to the restaurant. Rei did it for the past three days until the day of her farewell party comes.
Before they leave in the company, Rei fellow co-workers gossiping something that enought for Rei to heard it all even it's not about her.
”Tsk, tsk, Ms Meng really no face to show up”
”If you were her, would you be willing to go out?”
”No way, how come I go outside when the whole nation know that's your father try to killed his brother's and his family?”
”Right, right.”
”And yet Ms. Meng is an arrogant one and spoiled brat that showing she's an heiress”
”She deserves it all”
Hearing all of this from them especially the ones who's closes to Meng, Rei reacts because she can't handle it anymore and just tell them directly.
”You know what, if you don't know the whole story then you must keep you're mouth sealed.”
”Ms Rei? I though you hate Ms Meng?”
”Ms Meng did something to me but I didn't tell that I hate her, right?”
”Tsk, tsk, Ms Rei you're just acting to be tough but today is your last day”
”I know but Ms Li and Ms Zhang, I thought that both of you are friends of Ms Meng?”
”Not your business”
”Y.....” Rei going to answered them but both Ken and Ellyn grab her hand side by side and looking to her like telling her ”Aunt Rei, let's go and don't waste your time”
Rei understand right away the way the kids looks to her and just said to them ”by the way I'm going now see you later Mrs Min and guys” then leave together with the kids.
”You two, just because Ms Meng are not rich anymore, you're insulting Ms. Meng. And now the two of you stabbed Ms Meng on her back”
”If I were the two of you, don't come to Ms Rei farewell party.”
