”That blood is it from the victim who got hit?”
”Yes it is”
”When I got this case I heard your request for dealing it secretly, have you suspected someone as the culprit of this case?”
”Yes but I'm still lacking something, so I can't discuss it you now Sir and my apology for that”
”I understand and you said that you're willing to cooperate with the investigation, am I right?”
”Yes, I'm willing to cooperate”
”Good, I will be going back here again and I will check the place first”
”Yes Sir”
”Just call me Chief Lin, Miss Din”
”But I'm not one of your men or subordinate, so I can't call you that one Sir”
'OMG, this pretty lady is the first one to decline Chief, if it someone else they're already flocking around with Chief'
”I understand Miss Din, I will back after I'm done checking where the accident happened”
Then the two police officers left right away and on the way to C Azure Residences, they check the surroundings for investigating the place and other necessary thing for the case.
Meanwhile, Rei seat back again and continue where she left off, after 10 minutes she completely hack the accidents 21 years ago and she found out everything of what Mr Chen keeping all along, he didn't even notice that it's been hacked because he never got prompted that someone hacking it.
After protecting it strongly so that's no one can trace who hack it, the two police officers back again and ask, at the same time everyone arrives but didn't interrupted them.
”Miss Din, there's something I need to ask you?”
Rei stand while replying him ”Yes what is it Sir?”
”Are you really sure it's not hit and run?”
”Yes I'm sure, is there something wrong, Sir?”
”Yes, because we we're questioning at least 10 peoples who witness the accidents and all of them said that it was hit and run.”
”It's not what they say, I heard that you also heard that someone report and claim that the victim didn't make it and the 10 peoples you questions are only telling what they see and not the whole scene”
”What do you mean by that Miss Din?”
”Before the accident happened, I call the victim around 10 am while waiting at the coffee shop which is just opposite to C Azure Residences, the car who hit the victim was already parking near the Residences and waiting the target but then didn't make any move because a police car on patrol at that time. When the victim got out the said Residences 2 minutes after the call, that car monitored her and when she got inside the shop, the said car at 10:02 am park near the shop and then when we go out 30 minutes before 12, she got out away from my line of sight and that the said car was the one got hit her and disappeared right away”
”So Sir based from my explanation, is it hit and run or attempt murder?”
'Uwah, this pretty lady here is sure brave enough to ask our Chief and how can she question Chief that way?'
”My peoples still checking the CCTV near the area, by the way did you note the car plate number?”
Before Rei replied his phone ring and excuse himself ” Excuse me for a moment Miss Din, I will answer this first”
”Go ahead Sir” then the police just answered without moving away from her.
”Report”
”Chief, the CCTV both opposite street didn't record any of today's situation”
”How about the said Residences and the Coffee Shop CCTV's?”
”Same result Chief, no recordings today. Our IT specialist can't decode or hack it, it seems it protected well, Chief is this R doing?”
”What? Are you insane? R never do the illegal things and means. Go back to the station and wait for my call, I'm disappointed with you.”
”Yes Chief” then heard the other line hung up 'Chief, R is the best IT specialist, so R is the most suspect one'
”Sorry for that Miss Din and you heard my question before right?”
Rei nod and reply ”DY-3264”
Facing his men and command ”go tell that idiot (the man who call awhile ago) to investigate this car with the plate number DY-3264 in just 5 minutes”
”Yes Chief” 'Chief, did you forget? Among R, C and you're brother next to R, no one can beat them' but he still obey what his Chief command.
”Let's wait for this matter Miss Din and if you don't mind”
”I don't mind Sir” and the two seated in the bench in a far distance.
After 5 minutes his men phone rings and before he answered the chief grab the phone out from his hand then answered.
”Report and don't disappoint me this time”
”C---Chief? (cough, cough) sorry Chief but you will be disappointed again, we can't get any information and details for the car plate number you provide because the car didn't exist at all. I guess we need help from your brother or either C but then if it's R doing, I'm afraid we can't deal this case Chief”
Since it's got to this matter, even himself already suspected that R was behind all of this happenings and then command to his men.
”Continue with your investigation and report to me if you find something”
