16 Vol 1 : Ch 16 - I Love You, Goodbye (1/2)
When Rei telling her goodbye, Vin stop her for the last time and told her boldly.
”Rei, can I hug you at least once?”
Rei sense that Vin notice it already so she agreed ”go ahead Vin, you can hug me”
Vin hug her right away, he hug her tightly because he knows this is the last time he will see her and for the last time he want to hug her.
”So this would be the result about us, Rei?”
”I see, so you really observe and know it right away.”
”Silly, who do you think me for?”
”An idiot perhaps.” Then Rei become serious
”I'm sorry Vin, I was too late”
”Yeah very too late Rei but at least I heard your true feelings to me and witness how will you fight me back. Please Rei, promise me if you're really in love with someone, please hold him back, fight for him and never let him go.”
”I promise Vin, thank you Vin for all these years and thank you for loving me with all your might and promise even you will not love Xue back don't hate your child at all, okay? And love the child with all your might?”
”I promise. So we we're really just a friend Rei.” Both of them laugh then said together.
”I love you, Goodbye” they stop hugging, turn their back to each other and urge not to cry. Rei walking to the exit while Vin standing without moving. Xue looking to them hugging each other while they talk that enough both of them to heard their conversation while she doesn't know what they're talking about, seeing this she getting upset but when Rei passed her, she heard what Rei says and don't understand what she meant for the first sentence of her.
”Sorry Xue, it's my lose forever and please take care of Vin for me. Ah, please call you're parent's right away they we're both worried. I will help them explained but you're the one whose going to tell the truth. Byebye, my Best Friend”
Then Rei left without pausing but stop by a staff. Xue and Vin heard it clearly since they're the only the three of them as a customer and the staffs of shop.
”Oh my gosh, that lady is Lady Meng of Meng Shipping Lines and the Man is Captain Vin of Meng Shipping Lines right, Miss Pretty?” he called Rei Miss Pretty because the two of them are famous enough excluding her since she's just a normal citizen according to her.
”Yeah, you're right but please keep it a secret, you know the two of them are famous enough that they're like a media magnet wherever they go”
”Yes, yes”
”But why the three of you are here? Don't tell me Miss Pretty that you're here just to mess up the couple?”
”....” speechless and doesn't know how to reply him.
Rei already leave and nowhere to be found, the staff who's talking to her looking around and wondered when did Rei leave.
