3 What kind of leader is he? (2/2)

'Sigh.'

”Well, that is all in the past.” Said Berg. ”It seems our Lord is not from this world. I am counting on you both to explain everything he needs to know from now on. We must not let him be embarrassed in front of his subjects!”

Titus and Ferlin both nodded.

”We do not know what kind of leader he is, so let's be careful to not displease him until we figure out his personality. But do not be too distant, serve him with an open mind, the Goddess certainly did not choose him randomly! He must be a sign of change for us!”Continued Berg.

”Right!” Said Ferlin.

Titus thought back to Chris' ”entrance.” His rolls, how he picked himself up quickly to pose, his interest in cute elves... ”Huhuh... Well, it should be interesting at least.”

”You heard the Lord's requests. We have things to prepare for tomorrow. Go!” Berg said as he left the two. He stopped only to add: ”Oh and Titus, keep your nasty personality in check in front of the Lord!”

Titus looked in disbelief at Berg when he heard Ferlin. ”Hahaha. Nasty personality... That's so fitting. No wonder your daughter is such a handful. Well, see you tomorrow, you little rascal!”

Titus sighed as he also left. ”Who's the rascal? I just like to have fun, unlike a certain square head!”

He stopped by the barracks as he was cursing Ferlin. ”You two. Go guard our Lord. Protect him at all cost and do not let anyone enter his sleeping area! I will send two other guards to replace you at midnight.”

”Yes, sir!” The guards acknowledged their orders and left.

”And if he asks, tells him you were sent by the very caring Titus.” He added.

”R-right...”

[Huhu. Is it me or things will go very well between the new Lord and me.] Thought a very pleased Titus.
