11 Wang Taos interruption (1/2)
Lu Fengyi left the room and soon after, Zhang Xuan followed suit. Taking big strides, Zhang Xuan stopped in front of the lecture stand and began to speak, this time the students paid their full attention to Zhang Xuan's words, ”Alright, I have roughly gone through the problems you all have on you. You all need to persevere in your training…”
In the middle of his sentence, the door slammed open revealing a young man who seemed not much older than the students inside the classroom. The young man burst into the room and shouted, ”Zhang Xuan, withdraw my younger sister and Zhao Ya xiaojie from your lessons right now. Otherwise, I will make you will suffer!”
Lu Fengyi instantly recognised this red-eyed boy who had just barged into the room. He was Wang Ying's older brother, Wang Tao, and was a student of the head of bureau of education, Elder Shang.
Wang Ying instantly rushed forward to try and pacify Wang Tao, seeing him in such a deranged state, only to be pushed behind Wang Tao protectively.
”Don't interfere in this!” He pushed his younger sister to his back before staring coldly at Zhang Xuan. With a haughty expression, he said, ”Zhang Xuan, it is one thing if you use your nonsense to deceive others, but to think that you would dare to coax my younger sister with lies. You are seeking death! I will give you ten seconds. If you withdraw my younger sister and Zhao Ya xiaojie from your tutelage now, I can let this slip. If not, even if you are a teacher, don't blame me for not going easy on you!”
Zhang Xuan blandly refuted, ”I am conducting lessons right now, get out!”
”Conducting lessons? With your standard, what could you possibly be teaching!” Wang Tao mocked him coldly. ”Get out? You want me to get out? Who do you think you are? The only reason why I call you a teacher is out of basic respect. Look at how you are, are you not aware of it? You are but a lowly teacher who is still in Zhenqi realm, don't act like you are a big shot before me. Even if I were to beat you up today, the most that would happen is a reprimand by the elders. Zhang Xuan's face turned dark before uttering in a low, however commanding tone, ”Scram.”
Instantly, Wang Tao's face turned dark with fury and indignation as he pulled out the sword by his side and swept a powerful blow towards Zhang Xuan.
The students closed their eyes, fearful of what would happen to their teacher, however Lu Fengyi was determined to capture this amazingly well written scene. Just as the novel dictated, Wang Tao's sword swept towards Zhang Xuan, creating gusts of wind as it did so, only to be caught between Zhang Xuan's two fingers.
Wang Ying and the rest of the class, who had closed their eyes stared unblinkingly at the seemingly impossible scene. Wang Tao attempted to draw the sword back, however Zhang Xuan's fingers were like iron clamps.
Smirking at what he knew would happen next, Lu Fengyi called out to Wang Tao, ”I'd advise you to stop resisting and back off now!”
Hearing the sudden advice, Wang Tao originally flushed with a shade of red in embarrassment, however true to being a student of an elder, Wang Tao quickly realised that he was gravely outmatched and with the help of the warning, he let go of the sword, leaping backwards towards the door with clasped hands.
”Zhang laoshi, it seems that I have underestimated you. Although you may be weak for a teacher, you are still outside the scope of my power. I apologise for my outburst just then!” Wang Tao took a deep breath before continuing, ”However don't even think about keeping Wang Ying as your student. Everybody knows that your score in the teacher's evaluation was zero meaning you must be a complete trash at imparting knowledge. I'd advise you to voluntarily release my little sister from your tutelage before I get my father involved!”
