18 thank you.. for being alive.. (1/2)

Jimin squeezed your body with his arms pulling you as close as he can. His crying was getting louder. You tried to hold back your tears pretending to be strong while rubbing his back.

”I'm.. sorry” he said in between his sobs. His voice was getting heavier. ” For not finding you earlier... For taking so much time” he continued.

It was hard for you to say a word while holding back your tears.

”Thank you..” he said while hugging you tighter. ”Thank you.. for being alive” he added.

The fact that someone was waiting for you, that someone was thankful that you were safe, that someone was praying for you to be alive, that you didn't died with your parents, made your tears escape from your eyes. The feelings and pain you were holding back from all this years started bursting out of you. You buried your face in his chest and let out your pain.

You felt his warmth. It felt like the world was shrinking around you. You both were crying while hugging each other. The long lonely era was slowly ending now.

The wind was all in its pace but it was warm under his embrace. After a long 15 minutes of crying, you both let go of each other.

He leaned closer to wipe away your tears while his own cheeks and eyes were wet. There was a few minutes of silence between you two as you both were trying to calm yourself down.

”You've changed a lot, jimmy” you said breaking the silence.”I had to, if i wanted to debute as a singer” jimin replied looking at you. ”Is this why you didn't recognized me?” He asked giving you a serious expression. You nodded

” but how did you recognized me? ” You asked with a smile.

”This..” he said pointing towards your lips.

” This bright smile of yours.. this is what i was searching... All this years.” he said giving you a smile. His expressions softened, making you blush.
