24 The Kings Authority (1/2)
It's been 12 days since Naota and Tia have started their training. In these 12 days, Naota has gained a lot of experience and unlocked new and different skills that will help him in the battle of Bluemoon.
Near the shack that Naota and Tia are staying, they both start a fire using wood and warm themselves from the snow around them. ”Tia, can I ask you something?” Naota asks Tia. ”Sure...” Tia seems confused. ”Who exactly is this king? I really don't have any idea why the king is needed for such a ceremony or any of that stuff...” Naota says to Tia.
”Well, the king has the highest authority over everyone. It's not important that the king attends every ceremony that's here and there but the king gets really upset about not being in a ceremony and then goes into his room and cries like a little baby for days. I remember when father didn't arrive to the king's 10th wedding anniversary, the king became really upset.” Tia chuckles. ”So in simple words, to keep the king pleased and not put our country in jeopardy, we as the citizens of this country try our best to not make him upset.” Tia says to Naota.
”You know a lot about this king, are you somehow close to him or what?” Naota asks. ”Well...I am not close to the king but I am close to his daughter and as for the king. The king and my father they both were born in the same town and raised together. They are so close you might as well call them brothers.” Tia replies to Naota.
(Brothers huh?)
Naota clenches his fist in anger. ”What's wrong?” Tia realises it and asks Naota. ”It's nothing...” Naota says and gets up. ”We should get some sleep, we will train in the morning.” Naota says. Tia nods. ”Hey, I am your teacher here.” Tia says as she gets up and makes her way towards the shack.
At the king's palace,
In a room,
A blonde curly haired man looks into the mirror. ”I must be sure to be ready for any kind of event.” The man smiles and his teeth sparkle.
A beautiful looking woman who might be in her mid 40's looks at the man and sighs. ”His back to it again...” The woman says and sighs.
At Mason's bar,
In the basement of Mason's bar,
Both Maria and Lily are brutally injured and Mason stands with no scars on her body. ”You still have a long way to go, it's only been like 10 days since you guys started training and yet I haven't even been scratched. How disappointing it is to see no progression whatsoever.” Mason mocks Maria and Lily who are breathing heavily.
”DON'T UNDERSTIMATE US!!!!” Maria jumps up in the air with axe and crashes the axe into the ground causing a huge impact and Lily shoots a bullet out of her gun. ”Too slow.” Mason says and uses her left hand to swipe both Maria and Lily towards the wall behind them.
”Done already?” Mason questions. Both Maria and Lily stand back up. ”Not yet, I can't let big brother Naota get into the battle all alone...He saved my life and I will make sure to back him up whenever necessary.” Lily says as she stands still. ”I agree...He was the only person I could actually be open to...I can't let him go all alone.” Maria says. ”That's more like it.” Mason smirks.
