Grafali leads Naota and the others to the Clance city's one and only guild.

A huge sign is boarded on the ground near the entrance to the guild.

(Sunshine stars, what a lame name)

Grafali opens up the door that is the entrance to the guild.

”Oh hello there, may I help you sir?” A beautiful woman stands behind the guild counter. She has long black hairs and a single string of her hair falls in the middle of her forehead. She also has green eyes and wears a tight white vest-coat over a black shirt along with her black pant.

(There is a ring on her left ring finger. I guess she is engaged to someone)

”Yeah, we would like to join the guild.” Grafali says. ”Huh?” The woman behind the counter seems to be confused. It's like she is hearing this for the first time.

”Are you sure you peeps want to join the guild?” Naota looks to his right from where he heard the gruff voice. There stood a tall man who was double the size of Naota and his body was ripped as they came. He had his hands fold and gave a smile.

”Yeah, why do you ask?” Maria questions the tall man. ”It's just that it's rare to have someone visiting our guild.” The man said to Maria.

(Just like I thought, I wonder why)

”Yeah, it's because people are confident that the king and his army are going to protect them and everyone is well fed too. So no one really feels like joining a guild. They say that they rather join the army and serve under the king rather than join the guild.” The girl behind the counter says.

”Matter of fact is...Once I get married...This guild will no more exist and the only 3 people that were in this guild will also leave it.” The girl continues. Naota sighs.

”Stop with your stories and just sign us up already, will ya?” Naota blatantly asks the girl. ”Ah...Sure...” The girl seems to be confused and sweating.

After that, the guy gets a quest from the mission board behind Naota and the others and leaves and the girl behind the counter signed Naota and the others up for the guild. The girl asked for the names of Naota and the others and craved it on some kind of ID card. She also put some kind of spell upon the ID card.

”Here, this is your adventure card.” The girl passes the cards to everyone. She smiles. ”What's an adventure card?” Naota asks the girl. ”Well...Basically it's a card that will record your adventures and according to that it will give you experience points. There are 10 levels of adventurer, what you see on your card is level 1 with no experience. Meaning your still a rookie, while you look at this man's card (referring to Grafali) his an experienced adventurer with his adventure level on 5.” The girl explains.

”Does this somehow affect our adventures?” Naota asks. The girl nods. ”Yes it does, you will find that when you go on adventures, you will find various creatures, plants, demons and more stuff like that. The more you level up, the more easily you will start figuring out their weaknesses.” The girl says with a smile.

”Hmm...I see...” Naota looks at his card. ”Any other questions Naota?” Adana asks Naota. ”Nah, I am done, I feel like I have got everything on check.” Naota says to Adana. ”Thank you very much for joining our guild.” The girl behind the counter bows. Naota and the others begin to make their way towards the mission boards.

Naota stops.

”Hey, what's your name?” Naota asks the girl. ”Ah! My name...I don't know how I forgot to introduce myself.” The girl seems to be embarrassed. ”It's Rochel, Rochel Archian.” The girl introduces herself.

(Rochel Archian, seems like she will be an interesting person. Plus she is the leader of the guild. She seems to be a cheerful lady...Then why do I feel this sadness in her eyes? Is it because of what she said about the guild getting shut down? Or is it something else? Whatever the case, I will keep an eye on her.)

”Alright kids, let's get ourselves a quest.” Grafali says as he stands near the mission board. Naota keeps an eye out on Rochel.

(The way she's cheerful...I remember how mother used to be a cheerful person. Whenever I was all alone and had a sad face. She always had a smile on her face, she always made me smile. Even when she wasn't doing well or even when she was having a bad day on her job, the smile on her face...Never fainted away.)

”Hey Naota, are you alright?” Grafali questions a Naota who seems to be lost in his thoughts. Naota breaks out. ”Yeah I am good.” He says with a smile. ”Alright, let's do this quest.” Grafali says as he pulls off a quest off the mission board.

”What's the quest?” Naota asks. ”We have to slay some demon rats, that's all.” Lily says with a smile to Naota. ”Hmm...Alright, let's do it.” Naota says. Everyone nods.

”Slaying some rats won't be a big problem.” Maria says with a smile.
