11 The tables keep on turning. (1/2)

”What happened to the 7th guardian...?” Little Yui was glancing Shin intensely.

Shin stole a small peek at Yui ”The very next moment, all the dark energy rushing towards the guardians was absorbed...by the 7th guardian and the 7th dragon spirit.”

”But wouldn't he become evil if he does that...?!” Little Yui's mind was filled with questions.

”He would.....and yes, he did become dark.”

”His skin and his energy turned darker than the battlefield's pitch black sky. He was struggling within himself, slapping himself rolling on the ground.”

”And then he woke up calmly...just to give a death glance towards the divine guardian. He rushed towards Reo to attack him without hesitation or holding back. Reo sheathed his sword immediately and engaged him in a melee battle.”

The 1st Demon King, 'Yasha Helios' who was also known as the 'Night Devil' chuckled as he stared at the berserk 7th guardian. ”We have always found him annoying, taste his wrath Divine guardia...” He was interrupted by the 1st guardian's sword and their supersonic battle resumed. ( DD Note: Yasha literally means Night Devil in Japanese.)

”Reo was trying to kick some sense into Alan, but Alan was no ordinary opponent to suppress. His attacks were always calculated and timed perfectly. Reo had no interest in using his sword or inflicting any permanent damage to Alan.”

”As the fight continued, the DK's started planning with each other telepathically. They wanted to get rid of the guardians one after one. They wanted to cut off their lead...they were aiming to take down the Divine guardian. They had a very easy way to make that happen, they only had to provide the 7th guardian with an opening.”

”They were fighting the guardians in a defensive strategy while waiting patiently for an opening to distract the Divine guardian. It didn't take them long before they found an opening.”

”All of a sudden, the Demon King's released energy punches towards Reo. Reo sensing the incoming threat, kicked Alan to dodge their punches as he glanced the Dks. In this state of a momentary distraction, Alan landed a fierce punch to Reo's gut and without giving him a chance to recover, Alan continued with a streak of punches leaving him stuck deep in the ground.”

”As Alan was about to knock him out of his consciousness...he suddenly stopped in his tracks.”

”Alan's skin tone changed back to his normal color, he turned his head around to see how the war progressed. He was looking at the guardians and the Dks as if he just woke up from his sleep.”

Reo got up to his feet, regaining his energy and senses. ”Alan...are you back in your senses..?” Reo had a complex look on his face.

”Big brother Shin...did the Divine guardian and the 7th guardian know each other..?” Yui asked with her bottomless eyes of mystery.

”Yes, they knew each other well...but how they knew each other, is a story for another time. So, lets continue with our present story.”

Shin placed a gentle look towards little Yui and resumed the story giving her a gentle pat on her head.
