”Tell me more about your past.” I asked.

”Sure! What do you want to know?” Hazuki replied, sounding much more open then she was just a few minutes ago.

”How was school like in Japan?”

”It was tough. Especially math.”

”Yeah asian countries do certainly have it extra tough when it comes to academics, good thing I left China in grade 5. Middle school is where the hard part begins.”

”Indeed. One day I was struggling with math as usual, but one of the teachers encouraged me, and even openly said this to me and another guy: ' I would be more proud if she gets a 70 then you getting a hundred' she said to the guy.”

”I feel bad for that guy I chuckled.”

Hazuki's lips formed a small smile.

”Yeah, from there on, I studied hard and became one of the top in the class.”

”Nice. I was just a B-avg student. Heck I would try to do minimum amount of work possible!” I commented.

”It was nice, but that's where the troubles began as well...” Hazuki's voice trailed off.

”At where?”

There was a pause then she spoke:

”At home.”

I decided not to press forward on that subject.

”I am sorry I can't tell you more.”

”It's fine.” I replied. ”My bad for asking.”

”It's ok. After that...I was in my bed one night, and when I woke up again I found myself in this world.”

”Same, well I was in the middle of a league 1v1 against my brother. Then I just somehow wound up here.”

”I see.”

”By the way when does your shift end?” I asked randomly.

”Midnight.”

”Same. Where you staying by the way?”
