63 Learning from A Master Teacher (2/2)
”Please keep your aura, Honorably Master!” One of the guards pleaded to Issabella. He knew this beautiful lady before him could easily defeat them. The guards only had one Beginner Rank 3 warrior.
Issabella removed her pressuring aura. ”Good! I want a VIP box for a match. You can ask Viero for my identity. He should be happy I want to visit his Arena.” Issabella said.
The guards knew who Viero was. He was the ancient elder of Redwood family.
[This lady called Ancient Elder Viero like a person on the same level.]
[Yes, we shouldn't mess with her.]
[Try to find some boxes that we could allocate.] The leader said.
One of the guards looked into the ticket seller.
”Master, it was the box for Masked Bear's match. All boxes had already been sold.” The ticket seller said.
”Let me check the attendant!” The guards asked for the list of VIP box ticket holders. The family would give some VIP boxes to important people. This powerful lady wasn't someone who they could offend. She definitely could be considered an important person in the city.
”Remove the box from Young Master Lucas Redwood and his friends!” The guard quickly made the decision. ”You would inform him that Ancient Elder Viero takes it from him.”
”This is the box as a gift from Ancient Elder Viero.” The guard offered the VIP box to Issabella.
The ticket seller was afraid. While he didn't know who Viero was, he knew what an elder meant. A powerful warrior that he couldn't offend.
”Good! I will remember the hospitality.” Issabella said.
Trevon brought his grandmother and his bodyguards to the martial art vendors. Jerry was separated to repair his clock. He would join later in the restaurant gallery.
”I am Trevon from McArthur family. I am looking for a special martial art. A copy is fine. If I could find a manual that I want, I will pay ten thousand spirit stones.” Trevon declared. He was inspired by the chapter from Library of Heaven Path that he had just read.
Negotiations with those merchants were difficult. Some rare manuals couldn't be purchased with money even when they were weak.
Some merchants were interested in hearing ten thousand spirit stones. They could make a copy of the manual with some gold coins. Their manual quality wasn't the same with McArthur family's copy service.
”How do you decide on the manual, Young Master?” One of the merchants asked Trevon.
Trevon knew it was a success. [Zhang Master Teacher is really smart.] He found some use for reading other hero stories.
Trevon took a big black box from his storage ring, it was one of the boxes from Uncle Bowman.
”Only the best martial art would be purchased. This is an artifact box which could select the winner!”
Issabella looked to her grandson strangely. She wondered what her grandson would do.
[Why would Trevon offer ten thousand spirit stones for a martial art? This is just one of the boxes for broken artifacts.] She thought.
Some rare martial arts could fetch a higher number than ten thousand, but it was mostly for the original manual. The copy might include fake information and wrong guidance. It would be fatal it a word was mistakenly changed. The copy was very cheap while the original was very expensive. Even the most expensive copy would not be more than one hundred spirit stones.
More merchants started to gather around Trevon and his group. They had heard the famous McArthur family name.
”What's this about?” Most merchants only cared about the ten thousand spirit stones.
Trevon opened the box. ”Write your shop insignia on the manual! This box would only pick the suitable manual. The rest would be destroyed, no refund will be given. A copy is enough for me.” Trevon told the merchant.
Some merchants tried their luck. They threw some martial art manuals into the box. Those merchants want to find out what was this about. They had several hard to sell manuals. Most were broken manuals that couldn't be used or unpopular manual with hard limitation. All were copies.
Trevon showed his ring and gave it to his grandmother.
Issabella took the ring while wondering what her grandson would do.
Trevon closed the box. He knew the first one would be his loss.
”This box would select one manual.” Trevon declared.
Trevon entered the Universe Store. Universe Store was his unique ability. As long as he touched something he could bring that thing to the Universe Store. This didn't work for living items, but it was useful to bring a storage item.
Trevon quickly went to the purchasing counter. He sold all but one manual from the box.
”This is good.” Trevon returned to the real world. He pretended to activate the box using spiritual energy.
Trevon waited for some time before he opened the box. A manual was at the bottom of the box. ”This is the selected manual.” Trevon took the manual. The young master pretended to check the manual.
”Good! I want this.” He declared.
”Who owned this manual?” Trevon asked. A merchant came forward.
”This is ten thousand spirit stones for you. You can count it.” Trevon gave a pouch to the merchant while putting the manual to his storage ring.
”Thank you, Young Master.” The merchant was happy, he only opened the pouch. He didn't need to count. The spirit stones, that he could see were already a big profit for him.
Other merchant felt envy. It was hard to have that much spirit stones.
”I will only purchase a limited number of martial arts.” Trevon declared. ”I am still looking for more suitable martial arts. Who would participate?”
”What kind manual does young master looking for?” One of the merchants asked.
”That is a too broad question. This box would select for me.” Trevon promoted his box. ”You could try to put more manuals to increase your chance to be selected.”
This time those merchants competed to put lots of manual copy. The price of the manual came mostly from the martial art on it. They had seen Trevon didn't wear a storage ring that could be used to take the manual from inside the box.
Most merchants also thought it was impossible for a family like McArthur to use a cheap trick for copies. A family like McArthur would only collect original manual.
The merchants quickly took their copies of martial art manuals. Some merchant even put over than a hundred manuals to compete.
Trevon closed the box. This time he made a big profit. He counted over twenty thousand manuals. Some were the same, but he didn't care.
Trevon used his 'I Am A Customer' skill again and entered the Universe Store. He sold those manuals to Universe Store using Auto's help and only left one manual inside the boxes.
Trevon played his drama again and took the manual again. A happy merchant saw his manual chosen. Trevon gave him ten thousand spirit stones.
While he wanted to act like Master Teacher Zhang from' Library of Heaven's Path', he couldn't do it. If he could fully imitate him, he believed he would get even more merchants participated.
He also did one more time, but this turn, he declared all were failed.
”This will be the last.” Trevon declared. He opened the box again.
This time the merchant competed even harder. Not every day they could find a person purchased using ten thousand spirit stones. The book which was chosen also strange and unrelated in the merchants' opinion.
However, Trevon knew that the gambling made a huge part of his success. People love to gamble, hoping for luck to get something big.
Trevon counted over thirty thousand manuals. Most of them were just weak and common martial arts. Some also were duplicates. Trevon went to the Universe Store. He sold all those manuals except one. The process was easy thanks to Auto. Auto could handle numerous items as easy as one item.
Trevon pretended again. He opened his box, found a manual and pretended to read.
”Yeah! I want this. Congratulation to the winner!” He showed the store symbol.
A happy merchant came to Trevon. Trevon spent thirty thousand spirit stones for these manuals. However, Auto had informed him that he got 92.256 martial arts unlocked in the Universe Store. Some manuals that he took was a duplicate after all.
”Wow! You are cheating them!” Master Rabbink commented. If Trevon went to purchase those manuals one by one, he would need to bargain. Some could be obtained cheaper, but most would be more expensive. It also would take a long time.
[This means using other heroes' experiences to make my path easier.] Trevon felt thankful to Master Teacher Zhang Xuan's teaching.
Almost all heroes would face similar problems. He didn't need to invent a new way since those heroes had proven methods. He knew why those novels popular. It was a guide for a young warrior like him.
Trevon left the martial art section and went to the center arena dome. The dome where the Masked man would fight today.
The VIP box was different from a ticket match. A ticket match allowed one to watch a series of fights. It was usually four to five fights depending on the arena. If it was four, the first three would be for unpopular fighters. While the last would be the fight between two famous fighters.
Meanwhile, VIP Box customers could enter the box anytime they wanted during the day. They could enter during the last important match or even watching from the previous series fights. There were usually four to five series of fight each day or twenty fights a day. A VIP box customer could watch all matches if they wanted.
Trevon entered the dome. This dome was the place where Masked Bear would have his fight with Fatty Panda. A beautiful lady received Trevon. She wore a blue traditional body fit robe with a long slit. Trevon could see the lady's long leg from the slit in the dress. [Hwehwehwe.]
Issabella had known about this habit of her grandson. She pinched him.
”Aw! That hurts... Gra.. Elder Sister!” Trevon screamed. It was painful, she had her body tempered.
Issabella knew sometimes those beautiful attendants had another agenda. They would try to seduce the powerful VIP customers. A VIP box wasn't cheap. One needed status, connections, and money.
The attendants could turn from a beautiful koi into a magnificent dragon if they managed to get a VIP customer's attention. It wasn't only a female attendant. The arena management also had some handsome men to treat their customers. Various quests visited the arena and everyone had their own preference.
The beautiful girl smiled seeing Trevon. She led Trevon, Issabella, and Trevon's bodyguards to a special entrance.
