”Lerna, follow me!” Said Rainer as he pursued the blue energy trail.

Lerna engulfed the rest of the wild boar and slid towards Rainer.

Lerna's body had become large and long enough to devour an adult boar in one bite, Rainer had never heard of a beast with such a terrifying growth rate!

Remember that Lerna was not even two years old!

She evolved from a cute little snake with bulging eyes to a monstrous basilisk with a predator gaze in a matter of months.

Sigh...

Rainer could only sigh, he wanted to reach a growth rate equal to Lerna's, so he would be invincible in a few years...

While Rainer pursued the energy trail, the smaller animals around him fled in terror after seeing Lerna and Rainer's powerful auras ( in comparison to the mountain beasts).

...

After walking for a while, the couple reached a sinister cliff where the wind produced ghostly sounds after blowing into strange rocky forms over the cliff.

Although the figures were worn, it was still possible to perceive that they were once some kind of sculptures, but the wind and the years had worn them to the point of becoming unrecognizable.

After turning his sight away from the sculptures, Rainer looked into the abyss beneath his feet.

”There's a way!” Rainer said after discovering a cave in the cliff, although it was hidden behind rocks and vines, his sharp senses allowed him to detect it.

Whoosh!

Rainer used Void Step and reappeared next to the cave, after hitting the rocks and destroying them, a darkened entry was visible.

”This place is in very bad state...” Rainer said as he walked down the dark corridor, although Rainer did not notice it, around him were paintings of huge snakes that followed him with their eyes, many of these paintings were corroded by the passage of time without maintenance.

Their green eyes closed after looking at the bag containing the stone that Celine delivered to him in the Divine Palace.

”...!”

The strange blue energy reappeared at the bottom of the cave and disappeared after crossing a corner.

Without waiting for Lerna, Rainer ran quickly to follow that strange light.

”...!”

Instead of disappearing, the light seemed to charge against Rainer and blinded his vision!

What he didn't notice was the fact that the stone Celine had delivered to him months earlier shook and lost all its brightness....

It seemed that the stone had fulfilled its purpose and lost all its power.

...

After regaining his vision, Rainer discovered that he had reached the cave exit!
