68 Swordsmanship (1/2)

”Mmmm...this place is... ”Rainer opened his eyes and noticed he entered again into the Divine Palace.

”It seems the interface has nothing to do with me entering this place... ”Rainer muttered as he advanced through the golden gates.

...

This time Jehako was not in the great hall drinking tea, he was in a large training area sharpening his sword.

”Hey, Rainer, we heard noises out there, something happened?” Asked Jehako as he smiled from ear to ear.

”Did you hear something?”

”Yes, from the last time you came we were able to hear a little of what you were doing out there, from what we heard, you were involved in a big fight... ” Said Jehako as he was standing in an offensive position.

”The truth is ...”

Rainer told Jehako about the meteors and the magical beasts that appeared from them, and how he had just killed a giant beast that looked like a fortress.

”...”

Jehako's expression became serious as he listened to Rainer.

He and his sword looked like one, his breathing and the sword movement were both simultaneous.

Lights danced around Jehako as he swung his sword, the blade was so fast that there were even sparks in the air from the friction produced!

”...”

Rainer looked at his swordsmanship in silence, he was immersed in that wonderful set of movements which did not seem to follow an established pattern.

More than a set of moves to attack or defend himself, Jehako seemed to be performing a sword dance!

Sigh...

”It has begun again... ”Jehako muttered with a melancholic expression.

...

Some time later, Jehako exhaled and his sword halted in the same position in which it started.

”Swordsmanship is not just swinging a sword to kill something or someone, it is an art that allows you to connect your soul with your sword and become one!Rainer, that is the unreachable pinnacle for every swordsman, there was a time when I felt a small brief connection with my blade...but I lost my body and capacity to feel... ”Jehako sighed after remembering how close he was to reaching every swordsman's wish!

”That was incredible, compared to you, I am a baby swinging a branch... ”Rainer muttered as he remembered Jehako's moves.

”Some time ago I promised to teach you about spatial magic, but your talent is superior to mine in that aspect and I won't be much help to you, that's why I'm going to teach you something more...my swordsmanship!” Said Jehako while pointing at Rainer with his blade, showing his intention to clash swords between them.

”I will be pleased!” Said Rainer as he summoned his own weapon.

”Ohh? That is a good sword, it is a pity that its wielder is not able to draw all its power... ”Jehako muttered as he performed his swordsmanship as he faced Rainer.

...

Xiu!

Xiu!

Slash!

Two blades clashed as sparks danced around them, the speed of both blades was such that the human eye would be unable to see anything!

Naturally, Jehako knew that Rainer was quite inexperienced so he controlled his strength and speed, he wanted to teach Rainer, not show off his skill.
