Rainer was fleeing beside Lerna when his body began to feel strange!

Something was calling him!

Woosh! Woosh!

A vortex of dark energy flowed through the entire woods, the small creatures were fleeing in terror and the magical beasts were not far behind!

Shake...Shake...

”...!”

”F*ck! Why would a stampede happen right now!”Bandits seemed not to notice the dark energy that covered the forest, they only knew they would die if that stampede reached them!

”Aaaarrrggh!”

A bandit who was exhausted from running so much, was caught by the stampede. His scream quickly disappeared among the beasts's roars...

”Deedddddd!”Damn it!This wasn't supposed to happen! We've already lost two men in one night!”Scar was regretting to chase that brat, each of these bandits was like a brother to him and he had lost two in just an hour!

”Scar, what do we do now?” Asked one of the remaining four men in his charge.

”Of course we're going to run away! Leave that brat for later!” Shouted Scar.

”...!”

Right after Scar finished speaking, a huge magical beast appeared in front of the path!

”Grrrr!”

A 3 metre tall fox roared in their direction.

”Damn it, I can't see its cultivation base....we can't fight it! But at least that brat will die in its claws!”Scar wasn't happy with the outcome but at least they could flee while the Fox was devouring Rainer.

”...”

”What the hell!”

When they slowed down their rhythm to put more space between Rainer and them, the fox vanished! His illusory figure became smoke and it disappeared.

”They have deceived us!”They thought before turning and seeing that the stampede had reached them...

”Rainer! I'm here!”Alisha's voice sounded in the bushes near Rainer.

”Alisha! I told you to hide!” Rainer was glad to see Alisha in safety, but she was in grave danger with the magical beasts in such a state!

Alisha climbed over Lerna and hugged Rainer, her heartbeat returned to normal rhythm after seeing that Rainer was just exhausted.

”Rainer, I couldn't let you fight that beastmen alone! He's too powerful!”Alisha shout worried about Rainer.
